If anyone is in the market for an M class my local shop received an order today, it's located in So Cal…Bodega Vapes in Granada Hills, all colors.
It was working in nickel mode right? Same exact coil too right?
No, no dry coil just the higher than expected temperatures. If hitcat is getting a dry coil message I must have missed that.
Had to go back and check and that is his problem he said he can't get it to fire over 2 sec even with the coil wet then dry coil. You had me worried there I thought it was the firmware. Temp thing is ok. That's why I'm thinking his coil is too high a resistance at .43.
It's too bad they didn't come out with some instruction or guidelines I should say with this upgrade.
It's a test version not necessarily needed, or for everyone. Like me I don't even have Ti wire and probably won't for awhile after the holiday weekend. Probably more beneficial to those that have been on the Ti wagon for sometime already.

I sent an email to Fancy remember her or him and asked what the resistance is that they set this up for and the limits we'll see if I get something back.
Me either I'm just guessing. They told us all those things with the nickel.
2legs, I will get some SpiderSilk next Wednesday or so. I am anxious too to see what to expect but we are all mostly wet behind the ears with the SXM and Ti but I am sure we will see some postings in the next few weeks. It will be like learning to crawl for me with Ti.
I know there are some folks using Ti so maybe we just need to do some ECF searching to get some starting points. One thing I am finding in Steam Engine calculations is that to get 6 wraps on a 3mm coil you will be at around .3 ohms which is on the high side for the SXM in TC mode. Maybe too high.
But even though it is a test they should tell you what resistance to shoot for to make it work right. We already knew with the last one. This is all new.

I am using some 27 Ga best guess it is from the EU and it is some metric value. I have some 24 Ga. coming that may here tomorrow or Saturday I hope. Even with that it is going to be difficult to get a decent number of wraps and a low resistance. "Rock and a Hard Spot"
I'm doing 7 wraps on 3mm with 26 gauge Ti wire and having no problems vaping with a 400F set temp.
