Join your voice to mine in requesting a visible charge indicator on the M Class that is more than the little symbol on the battery indicator. If you use the USB charge at all, it is an essential indicator. I would like to see a progress indicator and a "charge complete" indication. You shouldn't have to unplug the USB just to see of the battery is fully charged.

Email Yihi today!
I join your voice.
It's essential to know when the battery is fully charged

That makes sense as it is also a common Phenomenon across the Board regardless of Wire type or rta.
However, no such Experience with the Erl K or the Lemo 2 (now that I figured out a new Method of Wicking it-will post that with Pics in the L2 Thread later).
So, same as 2legs and others, I just keep tasty Vapin' with the Ti Builds running in Ni200 Profile at 17.5-20 J and 280-295* F and digging on it like a Boss.
Steady and Predictable as a Rock. No need to change SOP in the least.
Even if YiHi never gets the Ti Profile FW "right", not an issue in the least to me.
The SX rocks and Ti is the Flavor & Performance King of vape as far as I'm concerned and that's all I need or could hope for.
If you haven't already posted on the L2 thread I will be looking forward to see how the 2cut wicking works on it. I read earlier that you were going to try it & thought I would wait on your results before I did:) I definitely liked the way he did it on video. I have an L2 & it is working outstanding with ni200 & my SXM! So much so I ordered another. I am about done using my STMs. I don't know what it is but my L2 has just been blowing it away in performance. STM has just become a hassle which is strange because it used to work great. I am sure it is me but either the wicking , build is just screwed up all the time.

my first sx mini shed its paint. the second, temp control has measles. I don't mind. now the battery cap is so stripped the mod is gone. honestly I feel hana builds the most solid production mod. perhaps I can do a 350j transplant in one. might be beyond the scope of my ability but I have a guy that certainly can do it. however with the advent of the dna200 I wonder if their is a new yihi chip around the corner. yihi can do r&d much faster too. I am guessing they are working with much more capital than evolve.

I would not charge in the device. even yihi says not to. any mini usb is weak. I know when my battery is charged because I use a pila charger! of course this is precisely what led to the stripping of my cap. can't win I tell ya'.

honestly every one of these mods are unacceptable quality for consumer electronics. a $45 dvd player would not have any issues for perhaps 3 years. plus they are happy to honor the warranty. usually just fax proof of purchase. you toss the old one yourself and they send another. try that with a mod. yeah, ...... again. I thought this thing was golden thus far. there should be a punk band called the dead vaporizers lol.

.

Here are some possible solutions...

For the paint issue... use your warranty or...

Silicone Sleeve for the SXmini M Class

For the stripped battery cap...

Replacement Battery Cap for the SXmini Mod

and lastly.. for the USB port if it fails...

Sx350 USB replacement Board

Yihi's recommendation was a response to all the people breaking their USB ports. They would not have built-in a charger if it wasn't intended to be used. My S-class has been charged a thousand times or more, always from the USB port. If you're careful when plugging in the cable, it will last forever.

No, "any mini usb is weak" is incorrect. They're more delicate than a larger port, but millions of phones charge with a mini USB port. If you're rough with any of them, they will break. Treat them right and you'll never have an issue.

I charge mine almost every day using the USB to supplement between battery changes. Like any other USB, just treat it kindly and it will last.

I posted the Dissertation this morning...

Works great but I possibly didn't go as far as I should have with the Qorax Method integration. In hindsight thought of a possible improvement which I added afterward to the initial Post. I will add that additional twist to the actual Build next Sat. Morning and see what happens.
But regardless, so far the L2 is performing better than it did with just the Standard Fan Brush Wicking with Channel Gaps. Very stable and steady in Wicking and Flavor no matter how hard or often I hit it. More so now for sure.

Suggestion for High-End RTA? As you already guessed and said,,, Hands Down No Brainerd; the Erl Konigin
Matter of fact, soon as the Tankful Trial was done of the new Wicking Experiment, the L2 went back in the Stand so I could get back on the EK Tasty Vape Train. Ummmmmmmmmm.....:thumb:

Two Up for RTD Vapor's Service. the HG2's arrived today in a Batt-Box with an additional RTDV Logo Batt-Box.
Awesome Experience.
On the Nitecore getting energized now and join the SXMM in battle tonight.
Thanks much to all for the heads-up on RTD. Another +1 from me.
Yep thats the only place I have bought batteries for at least 3 years. Always fast, always get what you pay for and their prices are as good as anyone.

Well I though I would do an experiment and changed all 3 of my SXM's back to Ti mode. Still doesn't work right. Very unstable weak at 420 14J Temp going to 430-435 then down to 400. Another experiment failed. Went back to where I like it 275 14J NI200 mode. Was hoping a miracle would occur but no go.

Try starting out at .4 in Ti mode and go up from there. I didn't hit stability until .4 I'm going to work up to see where the sweet spot is, but I think everyone's going to low on the ohms. Try it at .45 and see what you think.....I just ordered 29ga Ti because 26ga takes to many wraps to get there.

The wire I am using comes out at .28 everytime with 5 spaced wraps on a 3mm coilmaster Perry at varitube told me they were recommending .35 with a .4 did you still have to use a higher temp then with nickel and that woould be just right if it sprang out to 3.1mm and the legs were 10mm which is 1/5" each which is about right.

I'm using the same wire as you. 26ga from mesh (good wire) ran 8-9 wraps on a cloupor z4 (like a sub tank mini) and had only about .5mm from the chimney on each end and it was as wide as I could go before shorting. It came to .45 and using it in Ti mode it rocks solid. I want to test at higher ohms but will have to wait until the 29ga comes in. Two weeks from G.B. I wouldn't be surprised if the sweet spot was around .5
