For those using a Samsung INR 25r in the SX Mini, how manyML of juice are you able to put through it before you need to change?

For the math genius out there, does this make sense?

I am vaping at 30J and my battery lasts for a total of approximately 22,000.0J.

My, amateur findings......

22,000 / 30 (Joules setting) = 733.33 (which represents total seconds of run time).
I take an average of a 3-second vape..... 733.33 / 3 = 244.44 (represents total amount of "hits")
I take a hit every 2 minutes (average) = 30 hits per hour..... 244.44 / 30 = 8 hours and 10 minutes per battery change.

If i lowered to 25J.... 22000/25/3/30 = 9 hours and 45 minutes, and
If i lowered to 20J.... 22000/20/3/30 = 12 hours and 15 minutes

I don't know what that means but it seems good. :) I just don't want to start any trouble.
What shortlex said.

You're not responsible if people start fighting there since you had good intentions but you also could have thought about "why in earth didn't anybody opened one already"... We all know how it will end :)

welcome to ECF.

Vaporshark just announced Atlantis nickel coils:

Vapor Shark has collaborated with Aspire to bring the groundbreaking temperature limiting technology of the Vapor Shark rDNA 40 to the massively popular Atlantis tank. These replacement atomizer heads for the Atlantis tank feature coils wrapped from pure Nickel (NI-200) wire at 0.15 ohms, allowing you to monitor and limit the temperature your coils are reaching. Because these coils are only for use on devices capable of temperature sensing and limiting technology, we have changed the color of the silicone ring on the atomizer heads from clear to Vapor Shark blue for increased safety and ease of identification.

$21.25 for a 5-pack

Yea I got the email. Just ordered them. I'm debating on getting the new Atlantis as well but I might hold out because it's expensive for what it is and only has a 3ml tank.

Atlantis Mega is 5 ml. I hear ya about the expense, but until Vaporshark's exclusive access ends, it's the only choice we have for pre-made coils on the Kanger and Aspire tanks. I guess I've been spoiled by Fasttech when it comes to cheap replacement coils.

Been following this thread from page one. I ordered myself one on Wednesday, and it should be here Monday. Also ordered several different spools of wire. Looking forward to this, as this will be my first trip down TC lane. I wanted the original SX Mini when it came out, especially after watching all the great reviews. I just couldn't justify the cost when I have several other devices that did the same thing. But TC pushed me over the edge with this one. I hope it turns out to be all it is being raved to be, as I am trying to sell a couple others to recoup the funds from buying this one. Anyway, keep up the talk guys and gals. I am in the shadows listening and waiting. Patiently waiting for the PBusardo review as well...

Just to clarify... Since the M Class has been released, there are folks coming to this thread looking for instructional information / discussion. Most do not want to wade through blocks of postings regarding technical info which does not interest the typical end-user of this device. They simply want to know how to make it work.. :)

I'm officially assigned to both the APV and RBA forums / sub-forums. My job is difficult enough without needing to watch a few select threads like a hawk..;)

They need to start an instructional thread for newbies. This sounds like a pretty confusing device in some ways but from what I have read on here on reviews on YT I think I know exactly what to do. I will be very interested in PB's review I think a lot will be answered there but if you have no experience with NI200 or TC I could see where there would be a lot of questions. I for one will try not to ask any to keep you awake at night.

I had a conversation with Phil regarding the buzzing sound of the SXmini in temp control mode.

I'm not sure if this is isolated to the SXmini, or with the SX350J chipset, so I'm gonna keep this here for now cause I'm hearing it from an SXmini M Class.

Apparently Phil is not hearing this from his SXmini in TC mode...

I made an MP3 that I'd love to share with the community, it's pretty loud and clear when listening through headphones.

Problem is... I don't know how to share an MP3 with the community? LoL

Any suggestions on how to make the audio clip available for everyone would be appreciated.

I'd like to know how many folks are hearing this. If some people are hearing it, and others aren't, I have a hard time swallowing the "everything is normal" pill. If it's not supposed to buzz, we need to take some action.

If you have a DropBox account, or something similar, you could use that and then share the link. At least that would be my idea.

I am not hearing the "buzzing" either. All I hear when firing is the sizzle of the e-liquid. I know it's the liquid because I can also hear the liquid as it stops or finishes 'sizzling' when I take my finger off the fire button.

My hearing has recently been tested as well within normal range by an audiologist, which is important to me as a musician and recording engineer. (Among other a/vocations.)

I am not denying that some are hearing the buzzing, just positing that not all.

ETA: if I press the SX to my ear I do hear a sound, more of a " ringing" than a buzzing -- at about 1500 to 2000 Hz. But that goes away after about a minute or two.

Phil should have someone else listen while he fires it without a wick. I didn't think mine made any sounds initially until I had my kids listen while I did a dry burn at .23Ω and they could hear it right away but I still couldn't.
