True enough, even with the audible buzz the thing still performs flawless. And that's what really matters
I think it was Vlad1 who posted some prelim scope readings, and you can SEE the sound. It's like a baseline constant blip across the bottom of the reading. And at a set frequency. I assume it's something used for timing, which would make sense. Not sure what the purpose of the electrical pulse is though, as they could have achieved timing via a crystal oscillator without actually putting any voltage at all across the 510 connection.
Oh well...
For the record, I hope all this buzzing nonsense isn't scaring anyone from buying this device. I'm just letting the electrical engineer side of me take over instead of just enjoying the vape experience. This is still an incredible device, and well worth the purchase price!
