So what do you think? Worth the money?

Yes. Flavor is excellent. It does take a lot of power to use though on both my Hana and SX MIni. I have it set to 410F on both and on my Hana I need the full 40watts and 45J on the SX Mini. Battery life is definitely going to take a hit using this tank. Good thing it has a 5ml capacity.

Oh ok. I thought you only wanted to do the cover and not the c frame. In that scenario, you could just remove the cover and dip it.

Regards
Tony

Sent from my keyboard through my phone or something like that.

I'm not exactly sure how but I think the battery tube is connected to the cover not the C-frame from the pictures I seen earlier in the thread. IDK for sure how it's setup inside I'll look for them again to see if I can make it out. But yea I'd only want to do the cover, my C-frame is flawless.

Yea the Batt tube is definitely attached to the cover, still cant really see how but it is somehow.

Well, If that's the case, it would require some preparation although nothing major.

Heck, I had a black mini hana clone with some nasty tooling marks and a ruined anodizing that I sanded down to bare aluminium... THAT'S a few hours worth of elbow grease to get good results and I still need to do the final 1200 water grit to finish it. Covering or removing the battery compartment can't be that hard :)

Yea the work wouldn't be the problem. It would be voiding the warranty that would be the biggest problem to me.

Might be a bit hot? I personally in those two tanks stay more around 375-400F, and around 23-25J. Or it could just be your juice.
I've been using some kilo and Charlie noble juices... I'll try running it a little lower and see how it does... Thanks... Also rarely seem to even get close to the temps I set it too...

I would be PO'd if my paint was coming off. I am glad I went with the gray. Still in not a scratch! I think the gray looks pretty sharp because its a darker shade, gun metal grey I think.
:2c:Dirk

Mine was grey / silver and was doing the same thing just not quite as bad as some others. So I'm not real sure it has as much to do with the color as it does the process they're applying the coating in general.

Mine is grey primer under the black. I would have thought they would powder coat these, but this was definitely primed and painted with liquid paint. Very poor job.

I think the finish is the most complained about problem with these. I've heard they fixed the problem and some have received replacements. You certainly should check to see as bad as your is.

Has anyone got the 0.007/0.006 OHMs error? Just wondering what it means.

Just to clarify. It happens to me a lot when setting the RES. If it shows that reading, it freezes. I have to three click to lock and then three click to unlock to get the M Class back to normal.

I am nearly 90% sure it's the M Class 510 pin and my Kayfun V4 pin that has an issue. So frustrating as all my decks are not working again :( I hate beta testing while trying to stop smoking

Those look like silicone cases, not painted mods. Look at the 510 connector base above the fire button and the fire button itself. It looks like those are flush with the case.

Doah. At least someone here has eyes. I was going to post that, but i'd have only been ask for proof!
They can't even make the colors they currently offer, they certainly aren't going to add more.

Where have you heard that? Please provide proof. They stopped production so they could address the problem. They do not have a fix yet and won't ship until they do. Anyone who ships one prior to the new batch (whenever it is that it is released) is coming from an old production and you can have this issue.

Im guessing spilled/leaking juice plays a factor here, but regardless, it SHOULDN'T. Run your fingernail or a damp towel over the sleeve. If the finish comes off, they WILL replace the unit for you.

I had that happen once.... .007 and froze. Figured it was an easter egg "&&" a james bond fan ;) Just re-set the resistance and was fine afterwards. Only happened once, and not a KF4 so that wasn't the cause.

Thanks DannyBen, I thought I had an issue. I am hoping the software update will fix things for me. I can't wait to order one of the next batch Ms so I can do some real problem eliminating.

Someone from the FB group posted they are not having any issues with their K4. With that bit of info, I am sure there is some little thing I am not doing or an update will fix things for me. Still I am happy :)

Take care all
