Oh so the display in eco turns off quicker, is that your meaning and only happens in eco mode?
Yes, eco mode it turns off in 5 sec after firing. The other modes it turns off in 1 minute

I should note I'm referring to the 150w update. I assume the 120w is the same but it could be different. I haven't worked any with the 120w update.

Is there any reason to choose one update over the other? I'm never going to stack batteries with the extension, so other than the 150w bump version, they should be exactly the same right?

It's around 100 bytes bigger and the release number is higher, if I had a sx mini m, I would go with the 150w.

I don't think there should be any difference functionally other than the maximum output in the different firmware versions. And possibly different disclosure upon installation. If you're like me, never going to have an extension tube either one should do exactly the same thing. Here's a post from Onedesign1 "Varitube" that he posted the other day regarding the versions.

150W ridiculous - be safe - and read the safety statement that will accompany it.
Can disable the gravity sensor - but you need to go back in a re-enable the flip screen
New Eco mode but really all it does is limit the mod to 40W or 40J......to stop comparisons to battery life to Other mods only running 40W :) Set it to eco and enjoy all the added features I guess.... lol
I have not had the 007 resistance error

There will be 2 versions I believe. 1 to keep the 120w but take the other stuff and the other will also increase the output. Though they may change their minds and just release it as one. There is for sure 2 different versions for the Mod vs the Chip....different boot logos so pick up the right one. Both are running identical for us. Will also need the new installer they will post.

The 120w upgrade seems to be working just fine. That's the one I used since I don't plan on getting a tube.

The Eco signal at low Joules looks exactly like Standard mode. But there's a a 40j maximum limit. Only other thing I've noticed is the 5 second turn off of the display. Not read anything either.
In the Eco mode we now have 5 more memory settings that you can set and hold in memory. They are different than the 5 memory settings that share the Soft, Standard, Powerful+, and the Powerful modes. Weird that they put the Powerful+ in ahead of the Powerful. A minor fix needed IMHO.

So, having just rewicked my coil, its reading the resistance now WAY higher than .12, its reading it at .17. I had to drop the temp down to 400 as I was getting some nickel taste with just a hint of burning so they apparently changed the resistance to temp formula. Very very strange, but its vaping like a champ, although, I might have to rewick again as I cant figure out why Im now getting just a hint of Nickel taste still, maybe I didnt wick it enough... This is all foreign to me and Im a noob when it comes to coils, mine looks like it was made by a 3 year old...

Oh yay! I found my problem, a little tiny short, apparently I didnt clip the ends off close enough. Im such an idiot when it comes to this stuff.

No more nickel taste, flavor is right there, temp at 400 degrees seems to be ALOT warmer than it used to be (I was running it at 440 to get the same amount of heat).

Hurray for me!
