m8 this file is not virus i have a file direct from sxmini customer service here screen shot from my email. i am here to help just all

6zsax4.jpg

Thanks for posting the file "picon".

Boy not only are vaping folk cursed with OCD but apparently we are also paranoid.

For what it is worth "Fancy" is a YiHi support agent - and the English used in the email is appropriate for the source. I personally would trust a fellow vapor that has been with ECF for almost 6 months. If Picon posts a hack his career with ECF would be Ka-Put!.

All I can say is flash flash flash! I remember having a few test versions for the original SX350 some wouldnt even boot after flashing!
Someone has to test it who cares its only a mod with crappy paint and no warranty in the UK! No flaming!

Can anyone confirm the new paint is OK I have to threaten legal action if I want it replaced and that's a lot of hassle if the replacement is the same.

I am going to give you a QUICK no. Watch the PB video review of the Invader mini he just put out and in it he mentions ongoing bugs plus he stated that he just got his first unit with the infamous Garbled Screen problem.

Please folks if the information that I am claiming is not in the PB vid then climb my tree but if it is please spare me the "FanBoy" flame jobs.

These are very good from Dashvapes..

AW 18650 IMR 1600 MAh High-Drain Battery
I think the AW 2200mah would be better, as they are 20amp. If you are going to be using TC I don't think you're gonna want to use anything less than 20amp batteries, which also include the popular LG HE2/HE4 and Samsung 25R, various Efests, Sony VTC4 (30amp).

Edit: Todai beat me to it ;)

Bumping this as I've not received any other bug reports than the two previously mentioned. At this point I'm not sure there's a need for a bug list if this is all the problems people are having with the 2.1 firmware update.

So I guess I'll open myself up for some spam here but I'm honestly not seeing what all the fuss is about here with this update. There is 1 known bug that I know of and it's being worked on. And there's a difference in the ordering of the preheat modes, not necessarily a bug but it is wonky and different than it was previously.

So if you will help me in identify the bugs with this release I'll try to consolidate them into a list. Please PM me with the Problem and in what circumstances you see the problem. Please don't PM me with things like, "it feels, it seems, it's different etc.." that I couldn't possibly verify. And don't PM me with either the Eco mode error or ordering of the preheat modes. I already know about them. :)

So far there's two bugs reported with firmware release 2.1. Nothing else has been sent to me or verified other than these two.

1. Eco Mode "Check Battery" error
2. Order of the Powerful & Powerful+

Yes your right, Pbusardo has mentioned it in the video's as well as documented it in pics on his Facebook page. As well Riptrippers released a review yesterday Hana Modz V4 with the same display problem he complained about. It seems they're just going on selling these without fixing them.

Vlad,

I just don't understand Evolv's product strategy or their apparent inability to correct the problems. I will say if they don't do something pretty soon their reputation will be so far down the drain that even "Roto-Rooter" won't be able to bring them back.

I am very interested in the XvoStick but if I purchased one and it showed any of the problems that have existed since day one I think I would go ballistic.

PS - Thanks for the info that Rip put out on this issue also. It is always nice to have a second source when you are criticizing a manufacturer.

Now that I have noticed the Power&&Joules thing you might want to add number 3 as 3) &&. ;) Not a big thing but it is a thing... so to speak.

Not quite understanding. @ 14000 on my joules counter I've consumed about 3/4 my battery capacity. When I put a new one in my joules counter reset to 0.

New = just bought it
Mine resets joules with a fresh one too

14000 @ 3.7V was after a few hours
It quit firing at a little over 20000

Well I sent Fancy a message lets see if I get an answer. Couldn't decide between Fancy and Queenie where do they get these names.

I don't know where they get the names from but I got "Fancy" from the contact list on the SXmini site and on "picon's" posted email from her. If that is what you are asking.

PS - Fancy is the one that sent out the update.

Thank you for taking the lead on this! I know from being involved with many projects as a function of my day job, it's always appreciated to get a consolidated list of bugs/issues/concerns/wants than to have to deal with a steady stream of "me too" comments.
