I know Ive gushed a lot about this thing, but its gotta be said, ive never been so infatuated with a device in all my vaping life, and ive owned or own a lot of things. Ive gotten excited about other devices I bought at the time but this is a whole other level, its almost unhealthy how much I love the SX Mini.
I THOROUGHLY hope YiHi releases future offerings with their new flagship chips.

I totally agree with you about this device. As I have said before, this is by far the best vaping equipment I have ever purchased. I have several high end authentic mods that cost more than the SXMini, but none of them even come close to it.

I am waiting for YiHi to offer us a dual battery mod with this board/chip. Maybe add temp control it. Now that would be some mod.

On the issue of atomizers with a long 510 not screwing all the way down I found a fix for it today at my local vape shop. They had a clone rda (don't recall the name) that had a really long 510 and what the manufacturer had done to cover up the problem was add a 1mm thick black plastic disc that was 22mm in od with a hole punched in the center so it would slide/thread over the 510 threads of the rda. I tried it on my SXMini and this rda screwed all the way down.
Now I just have to go to Lowes and see if I can find some gray material that I can use to make some of these.
I don't like for my atomizer not to screw all the way down as I think this adds too much stress to the 510 threads of the mod and the atomizer. I like for the entire bottom of the atomizer to touch the top cap of the mod.
I will post my results if I have any luck.

Thats a pretty good idea. Thats also the reason I dont like if any atty isnt completely flush, I dont want ANY wobble to be possible. Im gonna have to cut some 22mm SS washers.
Most everything sits flush but there are a couple that have hairline gaps, not enough to really notice unless you put light behind it, but it still makes it so it can wobble a tiny tiny bit if you were to move it back and forth.

You're right this is unhealthy, and you should send your Mini to me right away before this gets out of hand. I am not sure if you know this, but I work for VPS (Vapers protective services)

I'm really hoping YiHi makes a dual battery box mod using this chip. Not for the 120w it would offer, but because of the longer battery life.

It would be nice if they figured out how to enable pass through on their next device as well. I use my eVic in pass through all the time since I vape at my desk. Nice to always have 100% power when you have to go somewhere.

In all reality you will be able to use passthrough on the Mini lower wattage without harming anything. Its when you get to 40, 50, 60+ watts where a USB passthrough cannot work because youre taking quite a bit more current than the USB can provide. A 9v passthrough would work, USB just doesnt support those currents.
With that said, YiHi recommends against passthrough alltogether, and for those reasons I wouldnt recommend it just in case something were to happen for whatever reason you will probably have voided your warranty.

I just had to put up the disclaimer lol.
I cant wait for my UD Goblin to get here! I have a feeling its going to be ridiculous for a tank, and it appears that it will look really good on the Mini. I'll be sure to take pics.
I want to wrap the "sleeve" of my Mini with something cool, no carbon, ive done so much carbon wrap (I have sheets and sheets and sheets of it) I want something new.
I have some exotic looking wood grain vinyl on the way along with some other designs I thought might look good.

i'm a little concerned but, only that ill have to file a dispute. don't know what I was thinking, obliviously I wasn't ;) i'll give them a few weeks and then file a dipute, pretty sure I wont be seeing an SX from them....

YiHi is aware of this vendor and they have already started action against them. FWIW, YiHi does NOT sell to any Chinese manufacturer or vendor. Any purchase from one, if they are somehow able to resell, will cause the buyer to NOT have a vilid warranty. This product is certainly a clone and trying to check the serial # on yihisxmini.com will confirm that.

It does however look like a good clone....unless of course the pics are just of the real version. Curious for your review when/if you do receive it.

One of the pics was a badly cropped low resolution photo stolen from somewhere, the one with the Jwrap. I didnt see any of their own pics.
Most of the pics are all from the early beta versions with the knurled 510 ring
Annnd it says its a preorder.
All bad signs. Fact is, as much as id love to get this device for $71, the WHOLESALE on the chips alone is $70.

I know im sure curious as to how this turns out lol. Whats your order status say? Have you tried emailing them about it?
The listing says "Pre Order Now to save 22 USD and be the first to get it!" so I dunno. Like I said, at least its paypal so youre pretty protected either way. Just keep us updated I am genuinely curious on how this plays out....I havent heard anything about a SX Mini clone in my chinese channels so its not that.
Ecigarettelobby seems to be a legit site, at least google turns up a number of people who have gotten their stuff from them. One person on reddit said he hadnt heard anything on his order in a month but thats the only negative ive seen of it. Its a myssssterrrrryyyyyyyy.

i love my sx mini, my only small concern is with yihi itself. having more than one device, i was curious where a person would send an sx mini if any work needed to be done, warranty or non-warranty. i went to their website and asked that question. i told them nothing was wrong now but i wanted to know where the device should be sent in case of any warranty work or non-warranty repair. i was expecting an address and that would be that- something to file away for future reference if any problem should occur. instead i got back a broken english cryptic answer from a very nice person named cherry. the customer cannot fix it by themselves have them contact me. maybe it is just me, but a real fixed address would be what i was looking for, not a "get a hold of us" message. sounds like they are doing things as they go instead of having a set repair location. what would be even better would be a U.S. address but surely they have a place where it would be sent and fixed? why not just have that info available ? my natural scepticism rises when i don't get the simple answer to my simple question. especially since yihi is new to most of us and, with this device, getting a foothold in the high-end mod market.
am i wrong to wonder why there is no address forthcoming? should i be worried or am i just being overly cautious? what does the forum think?......

They stated before they will be doing majority of warranty claims through the retailer you purchased from. So if you have an issue contact the retailer, they have handled the few issues that people have already had.
Same goes with their chips, they have a pretty good reputation of handling chip warranty and replacement through retailers.

I asked Yihi the same question and also received a cryptic answer. I purchased mine locally so if I have a problen, I'll stop in and get it resolved. If I have to get Yihi on the phone while I'm there, that's what I'll do. Hoping it never comes to this but that's my plan.

Yeah honestly im not sure how itll happen with smaller or local vendors. Im confident suppliers like Varitube, Yetivape, etc will have no issue handling issues, smaller and local ones however may be a problem.
I bought from Varitube so im not worried but I wouldn't mind sending it to YiHi in China if needed, so YiHi definitely needs to clarify the entire warranty process.
