First battle scar! For this death-defying performance, my mini took a headlong dive from the roof of my car and finished her routine with a graceful 1 point landing on asphalt. Judges scored 9.2, 9.4 and 9.7. kayfun and polycarb M-tank survived unblemished (this is why we don't take the Subtank to work with us, kids).

You can also check the FW version by holding down the fire button while inserting the battery. Be advised, though, after it boots up the up and down buttons will be disabled until the next time you pull the battery.

I have no problems with the buttons working after I do this firmware check this way. Just let it cycle off by itself after you finish tightening the screw. Then 5 clicks ---on--

I just still can't get the driver to install.. screen options are greyed out at the diver install screen..

Tried 3 different ports already..nu -uh--

Mac or PC? I'm assuming PC since I didn't find any Mac software...

OS? XP, Vista, 7, 8?

When you take the battery out and connect the device do you hear the audible USB connection sound from the computer?

you might try uninstalling the YiHi software, reboot, and reinstall it. launch the program, 1st icon (can't remember what it's called) and there are two buttons - 1 is install driver, the other I believe is connect.

JulesXsmokr: Forgive me if any of this is blatantly obvious, but:

Make sure you're using a USB cable that has data transmission capabilities, and not just a charging wire. If you're using the cable that came with the device, you're good with that.

You might try updating your USB drivers if you're getting a "USB device not recognized" error. These drivers will be specific to the manufacturer of the motherboard in your PC. When I was a field tech, we used a program called Driver Finder Pro to perform driver diagnostics/updates. The basic version is free, and you might find it useful.

I should have a walkthrough video up by this weekend. I wanted to have it up sooner, but life and all that.

 Oh no ... send her to me right away for TLC

Ouch! Well, at least she survived the crash and you could always wrap her up again. :) A scrap, instead of dent tells me this baby is durable ;-)

Oh you terrible show off! How dare you wave that Taifun GT 2 in my face before I can get one ... you are a mean mean man

If you send it to me now, I will forgive you for making me cry :glare:

 S.e.x.y :hubba: Ugh .. well I have one on order so ... I can wait

Thankfully this problem can be solved with a trip to varitube. Must...Resist...

Yeah... I actually ordered a couple stainless "Vulcanizer" (ala the bottom fins on the vulcan) so I can mount that and switch attys without wearing out the connection on the Mini lol:facepalm:

Thanks ! again another reason for me to go over to RDA,s :)

Or RTA's...or about any quality reuildable. My brother has a bvc nautilus on his iStick, and while respectable, especialy for a high ohm replacable coil tank...it just can't compare to the flavor and vapor production of a rebuildable...even @ 15 watts with some 90VG joose (wich it does run!)
