depending on the shadow...it looks like it could be just a hair off center. The delrin is slightly off to one side. Fires perfect though. When I took the pic I was not centered over it so you see a bit more of one inside edge.

Thanks, I'm sure it will be fine.

note the washer between the sxmini and the atty. i don't dare even to push the 510 spring, lol; will locate and use washers.

my previous one: fixed 510 with the 7.2 x 1.6mm red o-ring replacing the broken gasket, no spring. it's a bit deep, but perfect for longer 510 atties.

My review published today, here is the link YiHi SX350 SXmini Review | Vaping Cheap

Really well done review. Outstanding detail and photography. You say that "The average person has no idea what joules mean or represents, and I cannot think of one time within the 4 years that I have been vaping that I have heard a fellow vaper inquire about how much vapor per minute they were producing." I agree. But I think the joules display is something Yihi included for use with future firmware upgrades. See http://s99.photobucket.com/user/peraspera/media/Vaping/YiHivariablejoules_zps3746d36c.jpg.html also see http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...sx350-35w-chip-varitube-152.html#post14390082

Dr Farsalinos has cited "puff duration as a major determinant of toxins (probably). Wattage x puff duration = Joules" I think that measuring and regulating the temperature and quantity of vapor produced by devices will become very important as the FDA regulatory framework evolves. While vapor is much less toxic than cigarette smoke, there is probably some level above which it becomes unhealthy. Joules will be a good way to determine if an APV is being used "safely" for the user and those around them. This will be good for the future of vaping and its social acceptability. Recall the early days of microwave ovens and cell phones and all the false hysteria about their dangers. I appreciate how companies like Yihi and Evolve and taking the lead in developing devices that can be proven safe. I look forward to vaping in all public places someday.

Just placed an order for one of these little guys....excited to receive it! I wanted something that could fire a little higher than 40 watts. I mean I love my DNA 40's, but I am thinking that the SX Mini will be great for running RDA's with lower ohm builds....well it'll be great for firing almost anything!! lol.....can't wait!! :)

My USB recharging port is starting to fail. The unit will not recharge unless upward pressure is constantly applied to the USB cord. I've tried two different cords with the same result.

Time to see how Coval Distribution handles RMAs for this.
Please keep us updated on how they handle your warranty. Was planning on buying it from them...

Thank you kindly :) .. And as far as the joules display and how this may play into the evolution of vaping going forward, I can definitely see where you are coming from with that. And even as my friend Portertown pointed out, he has found it useful for tracking battery life, and monitoring the degradation of cycle life over time.

If you are correct about the purpose of the early implementation of the joules display, then features like this should be formally introduced to the vaping community, with a full explanation about its role and purpose now and going forward, just at Evolv did when they introduced temperature protection for the first time. I initially felt that the new temperature protection feature of the DNA 40 was a gimmick of sorts. However, after watching Brandon's interview with PBusardo it completely shifted my perspective on it, because I came to understand the thought, intent and purpose behind it and how it could possibly benefit the community with regard to proposed FDA regulations.
