Have you tried a different atty? Which are you using? I see that you're into GG.. If you're using a NR/R wire build, I would check your wire joins, and go over the entire build, or try another atty if you haven't already. If you're using the Ithaka with the straight R wire kit, I would still check the build. Your issues kind of seems like what would happen if something were off in the build, and placing stress on the battery.

Regardless, with the 1 year warranty, you should have no problem getting an exchange. Please keep us posted on what happens, and how you are taken care of if it comes to that..

EDIT: If it's not the atty build, I would try running the current update to see if that sets things straight.. ;)

EDIT: Perhaps I'm misreading some of your post... "Tried swapping out battery's and checked center pin .. Everything looks great lol".... Was it just the battery, and swapping it out, and messing with the center pin solved the problem? It's close to 5:00 AM, and I kind of took it that you are still having issues even after swapping the battery.. I just may be tired though... ;)

I work at Delaware vapor , so I'm sure I will have no problems lol... No it's not the atty, tried 3 different ones ,, and multiple battery's .

High praise indeed coming from you, Ms. Nikki, thank you for the kind words. Guess it wasn't too awful for a single continuous take, but I had to resist the urge to edit. Course I would've been left with just under 3 minutes of footage if I'd gone through with that.

My new grey mini is gorgeous! Not sure if I'll wrap it after seeing it and holding it. Finish is much smoother than on my black one, almost like a finer media was used to blast it.

Board is working great, figure I'll use it for a week or so to make sure nothing's gonna go screwy before I void the warranty on it with a torx driver. ;)

Just ordered one from Coval Vapes.

Coval Vapes stated they had 4 of each color.
Varitube also stated they had them in stock ready to ship.

Same price so I only picked Coval Vapes because they responded faster to my query.

Did you get the black or gray? I'm still torn between which one I think looks best.

My inquisitive nature will be the death of me. I figured I should at least go ahead and deprive myself of easy access to the torx screws by doing this:

I've gotta admit, as far as the naked finishes go: If I were buying for the first time, I'd go with grey. It looks really classy. I already miss it, so I'm not sure how long these wraps will last.

Offering to take a potential $190 hit for the cause is enormously generous but it seems to me that someone who is profiting from sales ought to be doing that. Has anyone asked Vapro Supply for internal photos of the SX Mini? Aren't they the U.S. distributor?

Oh you do .. then can you tell me if the Aqua V2 by Footoon that you carry has the 1st batch shark logo, or 2nd batch Dolphin? I am looking for a 1st batch Aqua with shark :)

And very sincere words too. :) .. its more impressive that it was a one take as well. I appreciated the lack of "blah blah blah" that too many video reviews have, at least for me.

I think you should leave your new baby naked. :D I like the look of the wraps that I have seen, but the gray/silver is quite sharp looking so I don't want to cover it. :) I've been enjoying the Powerful mode at 20W with my Aqua V2 built to .7. Just switched it up to the Kayfun V4/1.5ohm/16W in standard mode, but still need to play around with this mod and atty to find my sweet spot for this build. :)

I had suggested that you leave your new gray one nekked before I saw these pics .. well both are very sweet looking with the wraps.

Update; after not even a full day with the new sxmini, my gravity sensor/accelerometer has broken... It keeps exiting(is stuck in down position) . So bye bye sx . I hope no one else is having these issues

What an awful experience for you, Jeff. Sorry to hear about it, and I can't say I blame you one bit for moving on after two duds in a row. Thankfully there are plenty of other great devices out there to choose from. Would you happen to know if those units were from an early batch that shipped with v1.2 firmware?

peraspera: Rest assured my motivations for wanting to take a look inside the mini are purely selfish and I'm prepared to shoulder the consequences. Rather, I will be prepared. Soon. Maybe.

Nikkita6: As sharp as those carbon fibre JWraps are, I do prefer the nekkid look for this particular device, even the black one. Especially the grey one. Might go ahead and order a couple of clear wraps just in case something tragic happens to the carbon fibre ones. Cuz you never know.
