i think one without the logo are their first batch...you can also check the firmware version if it's v1.3 mean already comes with latest firmware..

I don't think anybodies identified any differences between the two other than the finish and yours probably has the earler firmare which you can update. Some people would probably prefer not having the logo, i know i would.
I got my mini & Mutation X v2 in the mail today. Don't have my batteries for it yet, so haven't tried to turn it on. Visual inspection, everything looks pretty good. The power button and 510 pin are both off centered and I have tool or casting markings on the top of the shell, but I'm not worried about it. If it works like it's suppose to, i'll be content.

Great vendor. Got it today. Fast flat rate shipping. They even included a coin for me to unscrew the battery cap. Using a Efest 2500mAh 35A battery. Everything is working fine out of the box. Fit and finish are good. USB connection a little tight. Similar size and form factor to my IPV Mini and Yosen Zero Mod V2, but a lot lighter. All the extra bells and whistles on the chip ("powerful" mode really helps thicker gauge builds heat up faster) and the extra 30 watts make it worth the much higher price than the IPV Mini. Rounded edges and lighter weight make it more comfortable in the hand than the Zero Mod.
Is it worth $190? People who like to have the latest and greatest technology tend to be very insensitive to price. Was the Sony digital camera I bought in 1998 worth $1,000? Was the 5GB iPod I bought in 2001 worth $500? Was the Treo smartphone I bought in 2002 worth $600. Was the 42 inch plasma flat screen TV I bought in 2003 worth $3,500? Currently there are no other box mods available with the SX mini's feature set, form factor and build quality for less money. I'm sure by summer it will eclipsed by smaller, more powerful, better made, and cheaper mods. But for us early adopters, it's all about enjoying the cool stuff first, knowing you've got the best thing available at the moment in your hands. So I would have paid $300 for the SX Mini, just because it's the coolest box mod out right now.
With the exploding vapor hardware market, it won't be long till more established consumer electronic companies like Samsung, LG, and Apple consider launching products to challenge China's dominance.

Quick question - I bought my SX mini from a local B&M on Saturday (didn't mind paying a little higher price to support local business).
I see some of the pics you guys/gals have posted and see the SXmini logo on the bottom of the mod. Mine doesn't have this...Should I be worried?
Also noticed my power button logo is darker (like grease or something in the etching) than what I see in the pics. Probably nothing, didn't bother attempting to clean it. I was too excited to use it!
No, no worry. Just means you got one from an early batch before firmware upgrade 1.3. You will probably want to upgrade yours as I think there is a 7.4v max on the first version with no logo.
Since you are about the third person to report the casting mark, it appears that was an entire batch that went out like this, and not just a random singular occurrence. As long as you are happy with it, but I would that this will be corrected going forward though.

I'm surprised that more of the bigger companies aren't getting into this market. It's a multi-BILLION dollar industry that's dominated by small companies. It could be that it's unregulated and with talks about .gov control/taxing that might scare the big boys away. It could also be that it's linked to ......... use.

I had the same "problem" but then the other way around, screwed the bottom-cap in a bit..to much..approximately +/- 3 a 5mm..could put it on and chance the power-modes but could not adjust the wattage,s
now I screw the bottom-cap flat-out with the bottom..rest my case Btw, I put at first a clearo on then I started to, screw the bottom-cap in.

yeah - it's the one I bought on sale for 142 - The way these things are gaining steam, I probably should have have gotten a second one. I don't think a better device in that price range is going to be available for a while yet.
Nikkita - that was an oxymoron type of answer, when I said I was looking for flaws because of the small hype going on about the casting flaws or a button or something wasn't straight or centered.. Just some humor...
I did though, inspect mine carefully and it is quite the specimen..I requested the black one, which I really am glad I received for 2 reasons.
1 - the flat black has a bit of a sparkle to it, and it's not a deep color at all..
2 - I have seen other posts/other forums where I was lead to believe the black models were of the latest revisions, so I wanted it for that reason also.
Looks like it paid off for me..maybe some luck involved, but I'm happy..

Makes the Atlantis airflow feel like a Kayfun. 100% unrestricted lung hitting. Airflow is about on par with the Mephisto V1 RDA.

On the site, once you go to "wraps" then "carbon fiber" click on the carbon fiber picture, you will then see a drop down menu to pick you device and color.
You can have the main color as black and the other menu add another color for an extra $1.5 .
We will send you two full wraps so you can apply it on the SX mini however you like

They said 5-10 days. If you dont wanna wait check out the Sub Ohm Innovations Silverplay. Same airflow, but bigger deck to work with, not very attractive to me though, whereas the Goblin is quite good looking IMO.
