DAMMIT, I bought the Silver/black face version. I have a feeling it'll be at least another 2 weeks.

Maybe, but you'll end up with what you really wanted. You'd have buyers remorse if you chose a different color, just because you were impatient and couldn't wait another week or two. :)

Now that the M Class is out, I wonder how long it's gonna be before they drop the price on the S Class. I see it's still the same price, but I doubt that will last for long...

Yihi stopped manufacturing the S Class Mini sometime ago so there probably are very few in stock at retailers now. The number of units in stock will most likely determine any discounts.

The M Class arrived a couple of days early... :) No time for pics right now, but I must say that I am VERY pleased with the finish. Much more "refined" than the S Class. No gaps around the frame, and feels even better to hold. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to throw a nickel build of some sort in later this evening.. :vapor: The battery cap still seems to be fine-threaded. I can remove it with my thumb just like the S Class though.

As Mark Todd may say, " Stunnin' absolutely Stunnin'"... :toast:

EDIT: What the hell, I found time for one pic... ;) I used one of my smok Gimlet's Ni200 coil heads for the time being.. Installed Gimlet cold, and held up/down buttons on the M Class for refinement. The head is supposed to be 0.20 ohms, reads 0.23 on the mod. Temp is set @ 425F / 20.0J.. Compared to my few days with the dna 40, and just using the M Class briefly, the temp-protection seems to be working very well right out of the gate.. :)

Just received mine earlier today. I am an experienced DNA40 user and my impression after some initial testing is this is TC done right. (IMO only). I have played around with a few atties that already had NI builds and am beyond impressed. Being able to control the boost level is a definite bonus. The fit & finish is definitely kicked up from the S class which is no slouch.

Can anyone elaborate some on the difference in finishes? I don't think I'd trade up, because I don't need the extra power (nor TC), but I'm just about to wrap mine (in pretty much the same colors they are) and am just curious.

If it's anodized, I might consider it. Otherwise, I'll probably continue on my wrapping-way.

Congrats to all who scored them, by the way!

Thanks!.. I haven't been as impressed with a mod like the SXmini series in a long time..:) Personally, I think it's worth the trade-up for the M Class.. The M Class is slightly larger, which makes it more comfortable to hold IMO, as well as the edges being rounded.

The C frame seems anodized, and is finished much better.. Kind of polished looking. The up / down buttons are slightly larger. The firing button's edges are not sharp, and is also a little bigger. The USB port seems better made also.. I also prefer the larger display window..

EDIT: I just found that my Magma screws down all the way flush with no gap, unlike on my S Class.. Another plus.. ;)

I might keep a watch out for a good deal. I'm thrilled with the J so far though, so I'll sit (at least for a bit). But mindful, like a good vaper should be. :)

I was thinking the C-frame was raw metal, or maybe clear-coated. The rest seems to be the same paint job as the S-class. Time will tell - there's always the option of wrapping it (before or after the paint wears). It's a safe assumption J-Wraps will come out with a wrap for the M-class too.

The "lip" below the 510 connector is more shallow and less beveled. The C-frame is thinner all around. The display window is wider and taller, and the display is ever so slightly crooked - something I'll likely adjust when I open it up someday (this was a huge problem with the DNA40 too). The display is significantly brighter as well (could be the OLED dimming with age on the S-class). The button holes are wider and deeper (I think they look better on the S-class). The buttons are much more firm and clicky. The USB port looks identical - let's hope there's a bit more solder on the J-board. The power button has more of a hollow echo sound - not as "solid" sounding as the S-class. I'm using a Sony VTC4 in the M-class and an LG HE2 in the S-class, so I'll have to swap batteries to see if that makes any difference.

Many of those issues are very minor, but I'm very picky when comparing products.

Just got my M Class. It's superior to the DNA 40 in every way in my opinion.
I have never been so impressed with the performance of a mod.
The controlled temperature function is right on and the fit and finish are excellent.
My strong recommendation to picky vapers..GET ONE!

My recommendation to Yihi..make a dual parallel battery version for folks on long trips who don't want to carry extra batteries.
That's not a negative just a nice option.
