When out and about using the Q I think grasp the mod a bit more. That could be causing the panels to shift a bit.
I wonder if they plan on adding a protective case for the Q.

I noticed it too if I grasp it tight. I wondered about a protective case too but don't know how that would work with removable side panels.

Plus it would seem like a shame to cover up the nice paint job, especially the Ferrari Red. Then again, I've never used a sleeve on any of my mods so YMMV

Cheers,
Steve

I've had mine for about 3 plus weeks. Starting to get some shift in the panels not up or down but more from the front to back.

Mine does that too a tiny bit but only if I push on the panels.

Agreed about covering up the beautiful paint. Just concerned about that beautiful paint hitting the ugly concrete.

Seems like Yihi should be notified to fix this issue.... just posting about it here doesn't do much except rightfully lets others know of the issue. :2c:

That s all I'm trying to do. Contacted my vendor let him deal with Yihi.
Not a big deal it's slight you hardly notice it.
Just my Vape OCD.
Thanks for your suggestion but I'll pass on it

Hopefully your vendor will fix your issue for you....very few folks read this thread worldwide so talking about it here doesn't really reach many folks.... as I post this I'm the only member viewing this thread....

Red "Q" in hand. Fits nice. I like the lighter than SXminiM weight.

I put the two free batteries on the charger and plugged in a pair I already had charged and waiting. Simply plug in settings for the tank I was mounting and with in 5min I was up and vaping on the "Q".

Dang, that is an impressive paint job!

I'm finding the battery life fantastic.
I don't use my Q continuously all day everyday but I use it daily. I change the batteries every third or fourth day.
Voltage drain is very even on both batteries.

I've been impressed with the battery life too. The Q last longer than 2 single ML batteries. The only thing I can figure is because you have more volts available than a single battery which makes it last longer. Or the 450 board is more efficient than the 350 board.

Just ordered 2 pairs of spare batteries and a external charger for them. The onboard charging seems to work fine except one battery is always 0.1v lower then the other. Will have to experiment with the other batteries aswell and see if the problem is with the vtc5, usb charging or what before i contact my vendor. Other then that im very pleased with the q

Well, I discovered the Q will survive a drop from 30" onto a wood floor. Yesterday I left my mod laying on my desk when I went to the bathroom and while I was in there I heard a crash. I came running out to see what it was and seen my mod on the floor with the doors off. One of my cats had somehow knocked it off the desk. I freaked out thinking it was damaged and I felt like throwing the cat across the room but my wife would have killed me. I put the mod back together and it fired up just fine. I inspected it for any damage and there was none. Not even a scratch. I was so relieved. Lesson learned, I will never leave my mod unattended again. I recommend never getting cats. They're more trouble than their worth. I would love to get rid of them but they're my wife's cats and she loves them.

Unlike dogs, cats won't bond with all humans and sometimes none at all. Mine likes to jump on the dining room table and knock things over/off the table from time to time. I've learned to lay my mods down so they don't take a summer salt off the table onto the carpet.

I'm not sure how it happened but our house cat only likes one human. No matter how much the other 1/2 tries - he just tolerates her and others.

Yeah mine like to jump on everything they can and bat things off. That's what irritates me the most about them. If they stayed on the floor they would be good pets. I always lay my mods down when they're around. I had my mod laying down in the middle of my desk and my wife said one of the cats got up there and was laying down and when he stretched out he kicked my mod off the desk. Nice cat, Not. :-x
