So I'm doing some research on propylene glycol and reading alot of products that use it and there in the list is tabacco companies use it to keep the tabacco moist so it doesn't dry out. If the FDA is so worried about it how come they haven't banned cigarettes and cigars?

It's also used in the flavourings they spray on tobacco!

When you stop and think about what the tobacco execs do, it's not surprising that logical arguments fall by the wayside. Big tobacco offers the only product in the world which, when used as directed, will kill you. It offers no benefit whatsoever to a non-smoker. The only benefit it offers (nicotine) is not a benefit until after using their product long enough to become addicted! What's more, the government allows these products to be sold just about anywhere! There is no logic to it. There is no reason. There is no consistency in the policy of the FDA, ATF, or tobacco companies themselves. The only motivating force here is greed. Not just the "I want lots of money because hey, money is good to have" kind of greed either. I'm talking about a deep greed that cares not one bit for the welfare of anyone. It's a dark, malevolent evil with no sense or reason other than destruction.
