Haven't seen a thread dedicated to these so I thought I'd start one.

I picked one of these. After watching Dampfmacher's video on it, I decided to give it a shot since I don't have a Spheroid type atty. From what I can tell, the GS is an updated version of the original Taifun where as the Taifun GT is more of a kayfun style atty. I built it with a 5/6 wrap of the included wire (which I think it 30 gauge) around 3 strands of the included silica which is 2mm, following along as I watched Dampfmachers video. The video is in German but his clear videos make it a breeze to follow along and gather what he is saying. The results are excellent. Vapes very nicely with great flavor. I highly recommend you buy the Dripping cap for it. It's only about $12 more and you can easily convert it into a great dripper easily. BTW, the unit does not come with the filler material. Instead, it comes with a cap that you can build two mini mesh wicks though you can use filler material if you have it. Watch the video and you'll understand what I mean.

Nice review. Unfortunately that seems to suffer from the same flaw that prevented me from buying the GT....it has a plastic tank. Unfortunately, a few of my juices would destroy it which is why I went with the Fogger V2 with the pyrex tank.

Otherwise it looks really nice. Hopefully one day they will start making pyrex versions.

I got mine today. I also got the dripping cap and steel tank.

I have plenty of filler but I have 2 spheroids at the moment so I just did straight silica into the tank. Works great. It's a bit long but you can swap out the drip tip for a short to help that.

I actually have a couple of those drip tips and have been using them on the spheroid, they look good and the spheroid is much smaller to begin with.

The drip tip is not very expensive to buy separately (they drop vat when you log in with a US address) so I added a couple different ones when I order GT parts last.

Overall, it's a great atty just like the GT. I'll probably pull the tank and switch to the drip cap after a few more tanks. I do like drippers with the air flow under the coil.

Where are you seeing the Fogger V2 available?

Right now it's selling out as fast as places can stock it. I have two coming that cleared customs yesterday. I have no idea if they will be good or not, but I know I don't want any plastic stuff due to the cinnamon related flavors that I like.

I have been going between this and my new SQuape the last three days. Nearly identical vapes in terms of draw and flavor though the draw is a little tighter on this. I bought the more open draw tube for it but haven't installed it yet. Both are nice and rich. I particularly like this one for on the go. It's perfect with an X6 or my 1300mah ego. I did run into its first glaring flaw when I tried it in dripper mode. It works great with the included drip tip but if you try to put another drip tip on it without a lip above the o-ring, you can push it through. Its a small thing but I like using straight drip tips for dripping and if you aren't careful, you can push them down onto the coil. It seems like an easy fix for them, just redesign the top to be a little deeper like the plexi top to have the drip tip hole with a base.

Other than that, a very nicely designed device.

This is news to me, I have a Taifun GT and had no idea it could convert into a dripper-this is what happens when you buy second hand and don't visit the original seller/vendor manufacturers website :p I'm quite interested in this GS model for my Itaste MVP as the Taifun GT looks bulky and over sized on there as does my Kayfun Lite + So a smaller design would be perfect. Got to love the vape quality from the GT hopefully the GS will produce the same results!
