The tank is nearly completely filled when juice is taken to the brim of the air tube. It's an optical illusion. Try reversing the metal on bottom and clear tube on top. It'll become apparent that we are filling this tank nearly to the threads of the top cap.
It will have the opposite effect, lower ohms = more battery amps used = more battery used

Lower ohms means less voltage to get the same wattage. If I put my Aqua @ .6Ω on my hana and run it at 20watts it's a lot less voltage than my Taifun at 1.2Ω also running at 20 watts

Sorry bud, that's just not the case, think of it like a river with a dam, the higher the ohms, the larger the dam, so less water runs down river, lower the ohms, more current flows, just how ohms law works, period, there's no dispute on this
8 watts using a 2ohm coil results in 4volts. 8 watts using a 1.5 ohm coil results in about 3.46 volts. Lower the ohms, less voltage required to get your required wattage
Well I'm right about it requiring less wattage but the amps would increase. I guess the accepted belief is a higher amp draw drains the battery faster
Just thought I'd throw a little note in on this thread. I've been having an issue with a leak from the 510 connector on my FT Taifun GT. Puzzling because I have zero issues with flooding or leaking from the airhole, but nevertheless, it leaks at the 510. While I don't see a nice way to take the deck apart, I did replace the small black o-ring under the positive 510 screw with a spare red o-ring I found in my Aqua kit. So far, no more leaking.
hey guys theres 108 pages here and my brain will melt if i try to read them all. can any one point me to a M tank for the taifun GT? i found one place but its $20. there's got to be a cheaper option. i got 2 kayfun M tanks for half that from mad

From the newer version of FT I've learned that there's supposed to be a white insulator in the 510 connection that completely remedies the issue. A second boring does help but I find that its not a permanent solution. I still have occasional leaking with my other 2 (cigreen version)
Yes, it's just a band-aid. I'm waiting for FT to restock the replacement bases then I'll just get a new one.

Does anyone know how to get the Hcigar TGT apart so I can drill out the air holes??? I seen some pics in this thread but couldnt fin an explanation. Draw is just too tight for me.

You might try carefully removing the air tube first. Support the tube because it is easily crushed. If that doesn't do enough, try removing the plastic bushing underneath it. That often will do the trick. If that still doesn't do it, then you can drill through the existing air hole on the side. There are some good YouTube videos on how to do this. The standard air tube that comes with it is 1.2 mm. You can purchase 1.5 mm tubes and that works for many. So, there are three or four steps available BEFORE you start drilling. The parts are press fitted and have to be knocked out with a punch...see YouTube videos on the subject. Remember, though, that you don't have to disassemble the base to drill out the air hole, and try the other alternatives first. My two cents. YMMV. Good luck!

This is the smaller tank, but I get the same results with the larger tank. Just invert the metal and plastic parts and you can see how full you can get the Taifun with the "window" on the top.
