Just wanted to follow up with my past posts, replaced my chimney cap, chimney bottom/base and top chimney stem orings- and that combined with using a larger diameter coil (2.5mm) has solved all my gurgling issues. Did it last night, Vaped a half tank with KGD cotton and half tank with rayon and have had no issues. I'm so happy, but at the same time disappointed in myself for not trying that sooner lol

Has anybody drilled out their air holes for better airflow? What size drill bits are used for the outside and deck holes?

I've been using 2 fasttech clones of the taifun gt (A and B versions). The slightly more expensive one is a bit better, but both work flawlessly with a bit of fiddling. I don't have any leaking using just organic cotton for now and coils in the 1.4 - 1.7 range (twisted 30g).

It sits really nice on a dna30 device as well, like it was made for 23mm toppers. The O rings are a major flaw and will probably install slightly larger ones in the future. They still work as it is, just have to be careful putting it together after filling it.

Just wanted to post a photo of my newest GT holder, heh. No one talks about 'em much anymore, but here's my Hammer clone.

Swapped out the standard top cap for a Chi-You flat cap and that helped some with the voltage drop. Really comfy in the hand, and it works great with the TGT!

I have the FT version B in SS also. Surprised in it's quality. Gone through 4 tanks since last night (did I mention I chain vape?) and just changed the cotton. So sweet to work on this thing! No draining the tanks, not a lot of fuss. Did use just a bit too much cotton in thickness, not a dry hit but just a hint that it wanted to dry out. So looked at the build with the freshly filled tank set off to the side and could see how the juice was being "pinched". Nice. That was so easy to correct that I figured I may as well try some rayon this time. :)

I had both of the insulators on the post melted a little. Was running the tank to low. Was getting burnt taste and leaking for awhile. My remedy. I took one post out and flipped the insulator. Did the other side once this side was screwed back into place. No more leaking and burn taste. Everything working flawlessly.

To most....what range ohms do you prefer to vape at in this tank? Right now I've found my sweet spot at .80-1.00.

I'm here looking for pics of Bill's new mod, I figure today or tomorrow as stuff comes pretty fast from Smokerstore.

Man I wish!!!

I can't even get the tracking to work, so I have no idea yet when it's coming. My German is not good. Soon as it comes in I will post pics for sure!

I vape at 11 or 12 watts most of the time. Depends on the juice. My ADV's, though, are in that range. Higher is good too, but not as flavorful. I don't need a lot of vapor. I get plenty, for me, at 11/12 watts.

Did receive the FT GT in gold today for the missus. Looks awesome! No builds yet. I'm not expecting a lot for my $18, but we shall see. It is beautiful and will look great on her white Provari, decked out with brass bling. Took this pic:

Looks great. Hope it vapes great!

Don't knock that $18 you spent for the gold version.I purchased a GT from FT too,not the gold though,a few months back(not the poorly built GT the one that is supposed to be the 1:1 clone)and it vapes just as good as my authentic Taifun GT.

Oh, I remember now, I got shipping notice but no tracking number till I asked for it and promptly received it. It will require a signature as it will come registered.

I hope so. This is my seventh GT, five from FT.

Thanks for the tip! I usually build my TGT close to an ohm and a half give or take, and vape around 12 watts. I don't use mechs though.

What DNA are you using?

Do the black or gold ones from FT have the narrow wick slots? Or the "regular" sized ones?

I'd also like to know this. Wanting a blue one to match my opus but hesitating because of the wicking channels.
