So the hotcig clone parts may fit. That's good news. Can anyone confirm?
I like the Taifun a lot. If I can keep getting replacement parts, I intend to keep using it.
What has the vape world moved on to? What's the current generally accepted gold standard for devices and RTAs?
What has the vape world moved too? That depends who you ask. Kayfun 5? Aromamizer? Griffin? Smok tfv? Among many others.
If you like the vape and draw your getting from your GTII, I see no reason to change unless you want to experiment.
I have many styles of tanks. The GTII remains one of easiest to build, especially in a simple repeatable way. The GSII is another good tank (imo) and for me is much harder to duplicate the builds, others have excellent success with them.
The kayfun 5 is super simple to build, similar draw to the GTII maybe a little more open.
The aromamizer by Steam Crave is much more like a dripper, very open draw, lots of vapor and good to excellent flavor. Some people have a hard time wicking it and it leaking.
The Griffin, Gemini, smok tanks are all essentially the same design, velocity style (2 post) deck, wide open air flow, results of big vapor but muted flavor (imo - ymmv)
The squape x dream produces great flavor (imo), nice air flow options, not easy to build on but once you get used to it, it's not too bad.
Like I said, there are many options.
