I do costuming and FX effects for a haunted house as a hobby.

This is modeling the facial prosthetic after doing a mold and casting of a face.

I'm the tall one in this picture...

This is the result of the prosthetic, makeup and costuming all combined. It is actually a color photo and the first time any of my "creations" won an award.

I'm not good at pretty, just weird...
Hi Hoosier! Nice to meet you. Very cool work! And 'pretty' is definitely not necessary in here. lol
Hi Martyson! Those are beautiful!

My Orchids; the off white's were a Mother's day gift from my daughter, the purples were half-dead clearance from Lowe's - I think they recovered quite well:)
Love orchids! And you did very well rescuing the purples. :) Love your teapots, too.
I love seeing everyone's creativity :)

can anyone jump in here?

Thanks yiddle!

Wow! Most of that is so beautiful, and creative!

I only do practical stuff (my avatar is a tool cabinet I'm just about done building). The only polymer clay I've worked has been for ashtray-alternatives and carto holders. http://www.user29344qw.jymes.com/images/PVholders001.jpg
Your holders are really fun! And I would love to see your cabinet in a bigger photo. It looks like some amazing craftsmanship! I could never do anything like that! Wow!

lol Lucy! Dolly is very talented! She must have wanted the one in the bottom of the basket! :D

Yeah... it's a shame, huh, Daleron? This is one vicious economy for artists. But, it's okay. We're really happy and grateful to be doing what we're doing now! And it's not to far away from this. :D

Gotta show you guys Doug's Random Segmented... I just love them!

Okay... this one isn't random, but it's perty.. :D

Oh oh... just came across a pic of this one. I don't remember what kind of wood it is, but I used inks on it and the leaves are 'metal'... sort of. haha It didn't photograph very well because it has such a glassy surface, but right in the middle you can see how the colors really look.

My boyfriend makes pickles. Yes Wallelf, canning is most certainly an artform. Especially when you do that much! Holy Smokes!

My husband went a little overboard with the tomatoes last year. This year he only put in about 90 plants

I tried my hand at dill relish, too, last year. Good grief! 15 pounds of cukes only made 3 pints! But it was very, very good...and I'll probably never find the recipe again. :)
