Heya Debb,

I might not be the right person to answer this since I haven't received mine yet. But I have heard mention of a similar problem where a user inadvertently had the slots in the carto covered up by the o-rings so the liquid wasn't actually able to get into it. It might be worth a shot to make sure you can see the slots through the tank.

well that sucks to hear Debb. I just ordered some about an hour ago -- standard 510 version with 2 extra cartos... I wonder if I'll have the same problem :'(

probably should have stopped by here first...

I'll try them on the Provari at 4.4V and see what happens. What setup are you running them on? Or 'on which setup are you running them'?...

Deb,

Mine have been working flawlessly on my ProVari and with LR on my 3.7 v units-although it looks terrible on my Ikon. Although I love my Reo Mini, the Reo is going to be my going out and driving around unit. At home or office, I will use the Liquinator.

Unfortunately, my success with the unit does not mean that you are not having valid issues. You are an experienced user so sometimes it's the obvious that bites you in the wrong place. I noticed that it is impossible to tell the difference between the LR and SR resistance cartos. I ordered both and plan on ordering some HR cartos. Could it be that they somehow got mixed up? Vaping an HR at 3.7 literally sucks wind.

I have not used cartos in a long time, but I have heard that the QC on them is not the greatest and that several in a row can give a bad vape.

You might try removing the carto from the liquinator, taping the slots shut, filling them, and then testing the cartos that way.

By the way, you put up some great recipes on the Mini forum. If you find a good DIY Tiramisu and cappuccino, I would kiss you.

Debb:

Did you prime it by adding drops to the top of the cartomizer once you had it filled? The first time I put 4 and had some dry taste, but now I use 8- 10 drops and let it soak in the tank for about thirty seconds. The first couple drags I take are gentle and I do them at 3.7v. After the second or third hit, it works great.

I use all-VG ULTRApure from Innovapor as my all-day vape about 90% of the time. I always extra prime with VG and run it with short puffs at 3.7v for about four or five drags.

I wonder if you might have cooked it a little at first and had to vape that out? It's the only thing I can think of.

Anyway, let us know how it works with the other juice!

It was designed with the Silver Bullet in mind, but yes, you can control the air flow from a loose to a tight draw. Two solutions for you: 1) ease off the carto threads a tad and it allows plenty of air; 2) just press the tank up a hair from where it connects to the top. I just use my thumb nail and move it up a tad. I hear it's an even tighter seal on the Inifinity (I think that's the one).

Both work equally well, but I find the second method is the one I use most often. I actually like to adjust the draw on my ProVari...
