Tank problems

I just read the post below me about weak hits, burnt taste, and I have a similar problem. My atomizers are punched, I filled the poly filler with juice, but I am getting waaaaaaay less vapor than I was with my giantomizer. I got an F1 starter kit with two eGO batteries, and two of the giantomizers. Huge plumes, but the coil gets gunked up and replacements are stupid expensive for the length of time. So I got two DCTs today and have not had any luck getting these things to work.

Could it be the battery? I'm a total noob at the ohm/mah whatevers, so I am not completely sure. The guy at the vape shop said my battery would work, but now they are closed for the weekend and I have no flippin idea.

HI Vic and welcome to ecf!

While I am no expert on the subject my personal experience with DCT's on eGo batteries left quite a lot to be desired. The eGos 3.2-3.4 volt output just doesn't produce the vapor that I was/am looking for. They will fire the coils on the DCT's, but are too weak imho. So they will work  just not very well.

Check for resurrectors, an XL, low resistance, single coil, 510 fitting: Crystal Clear Vaping

I'm pretty sure they'll fit in a DC tank, that the diameter of a DC is standard, just longer than a normal carto.

As Oban said, the individual coils in a classic 1.5ohm DC are 3 ohms, so a relatively low voltage battery just isn't supplying a lot of power to each coil.

Get them in stainless steel, not sure if you can buy them pre-punched (I slot my own cartos, with a dremel.)

Good luck!
