I have had a tank for about two weeks and its not too bad...then yesterday i got a stardust. Personally i like the stardust a lot more... seems to have more more flavor, vapor, and throat hit. I think i am going to continue to buy the stardusts for my ego. I would like to know what everyone's opinion is on this topic.

I found those a cpl of months ago and they are much better than attys/tanks- huge difference!

Somewhere out there
I am a little late coming into the clearo types, so never tried a stardust, but have tried Phoenix and today just tried these-
Kanger 2ohm EgO Clear'o'mizer

I like these Kanger ones very well, but they are a pain to fill! But performance is great. For ease of take along PV and carto this is great. I like the Phoenix when they work but I only have 2 working out of 7 new ones, so I will stick with the Kanger clearo for the ego when out and about. bnrk

PS altho this link says share sale, I do not get any credit on sales at all, it is some snaffu with how ECF links it. Happened in another thread too.

The only important factors are to use something you like, that works well. :)

Ray...Truer words were never spoken. I've read some posts here that were 'novel size' arguing eliquid. I fail to understand why some people just can't appreciate the fact that someone just may have a different taste or point of view....sad.

Why not the best of both worlds? (At least for me)

I haven't had much luck with the Stardusts myself. Poor wicking, bad draw, muted flavor, burnt wick taste, you name it.

But, for someone like me who prefers tank / carto setup, but likes the smooth finished out about town look of the of the Stardust...

There's the NEW Ego DCT (by Smoktech). It fits your Ego battery just like a Stardust but it's got a replaceable 1.5ohm punched carto in a 2.5ml tank. It absolutely rocks on the new Ego Twist batteries. Plumes of flavorful warm vape with voltage adjustment to spare.

I'm still having a hard time forcing myself to use the stardusts. I even drilled a hole in my first one to help with airflow, which did help IF i don't screw it on all the way. But the muted flavor, low vapor production, and burnt taste keeps me from using them daily. I also ordered 2 of the v2 or v3 or whatever with the longer 8 wicks, but they aren't any different.

I'm currently using 2 submarine tanks from mom and pop's vapor shop, will be ordering a 3rd soon. No complaints on those tanks other than size and looks, but for ease of use, i'd much prefer the stardusts if they ever worked correctly.

Where are you buying your star dust's from? Is a CE4 the same thing?

I'm looking to get a couple EGO VV's & I'm purchasing for the first time in a really long time, so a lot's changed since I bought all my regular EGO hardware, which I've gotten comfortable with & has lasted me until now, although my atty's have needed replacement for a while now b/c my liquid's been burning so much faster than it used to.

I want to get one of these too, I was just hoping to get it from the same place that I got my VV's & I was hoping to find somewhere that also sold good quality regular old LR atomizers. The method I've been using is just to drip into a plain old LR atomizer, hooked onto a plain old XL EGO battery, for nearly 2 years now, so I feel like even if I don't like the star dust/CE4, I'll still like the VV, as long as I have some of the atomizer's I'm used to using with it, just in case.

Interesting. Anybody got good (or bad) things to say about these DCT's?

I'm totally with you. I also have a sub & minisub from Mom & Pop - just ordered another mini today. IMO they're the easiest & with the best delivery todate. I've put all the stardust, attys, etc. away for a rainy day....it's all good!:vapor:
