Hi all
I wanted to share that I figured out how to run my tanks on my mechs with a hybrid top cap..The Arctic pictured here hits great on my BFM using the .2 ohm coil..
I had to modify the pin to make it protrude about 2mm to work safely, pictured on the Atlantis, as I had the photo,

but same procedure on the Arctic)
My mechs have been sitting on the shelf since getting a couple VW mods and I truly love the vapor I get from my subtanks... Now its great to be able to run them on my mechs too without having to drip..just refill the tank! Lol

How, exactly, did you mod the 510 pin?
Hi
After taking out the coil I pushed out the little 510 pin out of the base, next I screwed a updside down hybrid top cap down on the 510 threads..then using a flat fine grain file I simply filed off about two threads on the connector making sure its filed down flat all the way around and flush with the white insulator. Next cleaned up the filed threads by simply unscrewing the upside down hybrid top cap.. Washed the base off under hot tao water, reinserted the pin and coil.. Took all of 10 min and protrudes about two mm that works safely on my mechs with the hybrid cap...hope this helps
