Is there such a thing a over vaping? I am quite new after a few weeks found a juice that I liked a certain reputable companie's 555 100% VG, did it constantly, now I am about halfway down the bottle and it doesn't have the sweet nutty taste anymore, thought it was a cartomizer issue so I switched cartomizers, thought it was a juice issue so I tried another brand new bottle. My first hit of the morning still has the great taste but after just a rotten taste. Any ideas? FYI I use a KR808D1.

Did you let the juice get hot or sit in the sun?
Did you shake it every time you used it so you weren't just getting some of the ingredients?

Are you remember to smell the vapor?

If you kept it at reasonable temp and capped it should be about the same. But yes - you do get used to flavors/aroma. Vape something else for a while then come back to it. Also, I find drinking hot liquids or alcohol seems to dull the flavor of vaping. Drinking ice water seems to refresh it.

Yeah too much of a good thing... you can get used to it and not even taste it anymore. Switch it up with something totally different like mint or menthol or cinnamon.

Plus, depending on the juice you may have needed to be shaking the bottle this whole time... so now you used up all the good stuff on top and are left with the meh on the bottom. MOre likely that you just need to switch up the flavors once in a while though IMO.

I am having the same issue although im dripping. I suspect it is the atty so i'm waiting on my spares to arrive. Tried draining/cleaning the atty and no results. 1st hit is awesome, next few are gross. Still feel the TH and nic so no problem there, Seems like the atty is just burning up the flavor too quick

This issue happened with me, too, and it happened to a 555 flavor. I wasn't very disciplined about shaking (my bad, lesson learned), but now I'm getting the hang of liquid care and storage.

But the 555...that's brutal, because it *smells* so good, and it used to *taste* so good, but now it just doesn't taste like it smells. Dormouse, what do you mean by smelling vapor?

As usual, dormouse and Rosa always give good, accurate advice. Both shaking the juice and alternating flavors is key. While cinnamon is not usually the greatest for a new vaper to vape for the reason of deadening the taste buds, it did wonders for me as a new vaper. I vaped nothing but atomic cinnacide (heavy cinnamon) when I first started vaping, making my transition to vaping easier. Smelling the vapor (oleofactory sense) comes from inhaling into your mouth first instead of direct inhaling into your lungs and then exhaling through the nose as well as the mouth.

DJ_Kalee, welcome to ECF! Hope you stick with us for a while. Lots of great help and support here.

Thanks, Seabrook, that's a great description of "smelling." I fear I'm not quite that coordinated lol but I'll keep trying!

LOL, I'm not that coordinated either, so I just blow smoke out through my nose along with my mouth. I think it looks a little tacky, so I don't do it in public, nor do I vape in public as the norm.

Even when I smoked cigs, I didn't ever smoke in public unless it was at a private party. I didn't even smoke during the day time. I smoked on my way to work, then didn't have a smoke break until I got in my car to go home that night. I didn't want anybody to know I was a smoker.

In my younger days I vaped at bars, though - that's just something I couldn't help -- you know, booze and cigs just go together. Besides, when I was buzzed, I didn't care how I looked, LOL.
