Tell me about your Easter Plans

Over here, we get 4 days off for Easter (Good Friday, weekend, Easter Monday). I assume you guys get the same?

So tell me, what are you doing with your break? Me? I'll be doing the dining room - stripping paint, patching walls, painting, ripping up carpet. I will also find time of an evening to relax on the couch with my gorgeous husband, a bottle of red, and my trusty PV (Caramel creme seems to be my favourite "night time chillax on the couch" vape lately).

absolutely no plans, not working Saturday (my choice) and going to enjoy my daughter being home from her trip. Rather miss the days of easter egg hunts though...she's all grown up now.

At the college I teach for, we get the same days off. We'll be continuing our project on the downstairs enclosed sunporch. Hoping to have it done by Sunday night! Ellery and Maisie will be thrilled since it will be their room.

Hiya Elph, Here in the good ole US of A Good Friday and Easter Monday are not typically legal holdays. Of course, every day is a holiday for me now! My son and his family are coming over for dinner after Church on Sunday. Then on Monday I need to get my rear in gear for a quick trip to Indiana to take mom her belongings since she's moved in permanantly with my sister and her family. I guess the new baby was a bigger draw for her than driving around the country in an RV LOL.... Then we're heading East in May. We've been home since October and I'm sooooooooo ready to be on the road again!

Just what was it you've done lately to elicit such naked damage control? Did she catch you looking at internet porn?

Ideally, my hope was to find an Easter sale through which I'd resupply my depleted store of Cam-Blend. Plan B will be to spend the weekend avoiding physical labor of any kind.

Heh, nope, not damage control. (The wife wouldn't have a problem with that particular activity anyway.)

The simple fact is that I pretty much never cook, because I can't.... as in, I'm totally lacking that skill set. Thus, I'm always extremely appreciative of a good, home-cooked meal.

spent the day at the river with my brother from out of town and his two kids with all of our kids. was a blast

David - Sounds like fun!

We worked on our first floor sunporch most of the day. As noted in another post, this is going to be the pups' (Ellery and Maisie) room. For dinner, we picked up food from our favorite Indian restaurant.

Shower wall literally fell apart so I had the fun of learning how to dry wall, plaster board, tile and grout.

Also replaced some plumbing that caused the problem in the first place.

Been fun. Live in the US so work as usual tomorrow.

The family and I went to the early service, took a nap in the afternoon and got together with my parents for a family dinner. A great time was had by all.
