Hey guys! Currently, I have the Herakles tank with the ni200 coils and an sxmini m class. I'm starting to play around with the settings of temp control to really fine tune my vape, but im having a hard time doing that. I've seen a vid on youtube with the herakles coils being used at 35 J @470*f. For me thats too warm, and the device gets hot pretty quickly. I tried lowering the temp to 420, but that just is too weak. Any advice to really get the vape you want? Or is it just playing around with the joules/degrees?

I figured you must have tried. Is the mod heating up is the rda getting so hot that its being transferred to the mod?
The tank gets pretty hot after 4 pulls. The mod gets warm after 10 pulls. Im not sure why its doing that. Ill try lowering the temp to 410. I noticed that 420 is actually still getting too warm for my liking.

...........lower your Jouls to start.
I am running Dual Coils @ .071 / 400F / 30J and get an excellent warm Vape.
Yes, you have to adjust, like any Mod until you find what YOU like.

Keep experimenting with it Zack. Give it some time to get used to the new tank too. I don't have a Herakles so I can't talk to that one specifically. One thing I like to do when I get a new atty is to alternate vaping with the old one. I find that helps me better compare the two on the fly.

As for juice use being high, mostly that depends on the power and how many drags you take per hour. I assume both tanks hold about the same amount of juice, because if they don't then 3/4 of a tank will be different for each.

Good luck with it.

Thanks a lot. I went from having an atlantis v1 since it came out and a aelous rda, so upgrading to this setup is a huge jump that I have to get used to. Its like im a newb all over again with this tc. Slowly learning and getting used to it though. The clouds and everything is soo much more better.

One thing i can't figure out is why my tank still gets hot after a couple hits. People who have tanks and vape at the temp/joules im at dont have this problem. Any idea what it could be?

Every single one of my tanks, Subtank Mini, Atlantis 1, Atlantis 2, and Triton, heats up at the bottom of the tank around the coil a little while after I start chain vaping on it.

Every Tank design has its heat dissipation characteristics, but the all heat up to some degree. My Orchid gets quite warm if I'm using it frequently. However the vape itself does not seem to change.
The e-liquid is being heated to the same Temp no matter what the tank temp is doing.

I understand that, but compared to my atlantis, that one doesnt heat up as quickly as the herakles does in temp mode even when i have the temp set at 390. I take 3 pulls and it gets fairly hot. Thats why im kinda confused.
