Hey folks. So after months of making due with stock batteries, and adequate performance but always feeling like I needed a bit more, I finally found my sweet spot with a 3.2v eGo + 1.5ohm LR (6.8 watts)... and started killing those stock batteries that couldn't handle the power. I'd just be wasting money buying more of those things.

Now, I have been looking for a mod. I wanted something that would outlive me. After watching my partner's brand new, very expensive, electrical mod fail after only a week, I knew I wanted mechanical.

I'm not a picky girl - I enjoy dripping. No need for a juice feeder. I'm not into crazy voltages or endless options. I just want it to work, be fairly pocket-able, mechanical, with safety features, not cost an arm and a leg, and preferably be decent to look at.

The only mod that survives all of those seemingly simple criteria, is the GGTB. Want. Want so bad. And as my batteries are slowly dying, the want is becoming greater.

So, I want to hear everyone's opinion on the GGTB, while I get my money together and wait for Vapor Kings to come back in stock. Hopefully I'll be able to nab it before they sell out...

The good, the bad, the ugly, ya know.

I have had it for a week and love it. I also still like my glv's but this is $35 less and well worth it if you like 3.7/6V vaping. The button is great, I like how it won't misfire, its cool finish, truly pocket size -- the only drawback so far is the battery, no 18650's and only AW17670's, the other manufacturers don't fit. On the other hand, you can use almost any other battery than that because of the cool telescoping battery, its so adjustable! If there was a resistored 5V I'd buy another!:)

You know I ain't a bs artist -- this one is worth the cash, it'll give you the hit you want in a smaller package that looks nice. I don't know much about the button upgrade but I know a lot of GG owners get it. The GGTS I have purchased has it but it hasn't arrived yet. It is a lot more attractive than the chuck, st, and sb plus lighter in weight and smaller. It is not a variable volt, that is another drawback but that confuses me a little bit anyway, I just know 3.7, 5, and 6 well, I had a 4.4 that I loved but the resistor blew (another mod). I am still wavering on the AVS tank, I do think another feeder that just got released may look nice on the GGTB also and be cheaper -- I just think one is necessary for long trips. I think this is the perfect entry mod which is what it was designed for. Just my opinion.......

You're a cool cat, Ripple. ;)

I'm perfectly happy to get specially resisted atties to hit my sweet spot. I don't really have a big interest in a vari-volt, once I realized I would probably wind up "setting it and forgetting it." I just want my sweet spot!

Are you talking about the new button design I've been reading about? I'm happy with the classic screw-lock one. I'm really not picky. I'm surprised there aren't more simple, mechanical mods around. I suppose it's not good business to make something so hard to break, heh.

But yeah, it's beautiful, and that's another reason I want it, ha ha. I haven't found a better-looking mod in that price range.

The GGTB is very competetively priced for an attractive mod, hard if not impossible to beat.

At the moment they only come with 901 connectors and your eGo is 510 so you would need an adaptor or to wait for Imeo to build them with 510 connectors (I believe he's considering doing that) if you're going to use your existing atomisers.

@bimbo awesome gesture dude!

@Mistress all I can add is: The GGTB is outstanding there's nothing I can say bad of it except once you get it you'll start wondering about its bigger brother the GGTS and you'll want that too which is way ahead from the competition IMO.

Get the GGTB and you'll know you've made the right choice and you may never need to look any further than the GG for your PV systems.

Imeo listens and he'll make the GGTB as outstanding as the GGTS in the future but the best part the GGTB will always be a much slimmer package just what you need for out and about, it has a nice heft to it but it wont sag your shirt pocket.

Simply put the GGTB is gram for gram the best out there and when you consider the price it really can't be beaten,go ahead and buy with confidence I'm 100% sure you wont regret it.

Hmmm, a gift from a Saudi.........no strings, right?:lol::lol: Just kidding, Bimbo!:)

Man, I can't win a GG to save my life so I finally bought the GGTB and its as good as I hoped it would be. I have a used GGTS on the way so I can't give you a heads-up on that yet but this doesn't have all the o-rings, avs tanks, mouthpieces, blah, balh, blah, that the other GGs have. I truly believe the GGTB won't disappoint you.:)

You guys are positively evil/awesome! That's some the prettiest vaping porn I've ever seen.

Wow, I actually really like how the bronze looks. I like both!

Bimbo, how about this. I don't have a ton of kit, but I do have waaaaay more juice and DIY stuff than I need. If you'd like to DIY, I'd be happy to send you a really good set-up.

I also plan on paying forward all my Kr8 stuff to a couple friends who unfortunately can't afford the start-up cost of vaping. The 510/eGo stuff is starting to wheeze from using LR's, but my Kr8 stuff is still working pretty good.

I know it's not an even trade for what you've offered to do for me, but it's what I have, and I can't just offer you nothing back for Christmas. :)
