Good Morning fellow house guests! Thought I'd stop by to grab a cupa coffee and make sure everyone's "regular" before I get all involved in earning TT's sociable security money!
I hope you're all safe from Irene...We don't have those here thank goodness. I go crazy when we have wind storms because of all the huge pine trees around us. They like to make lots of creaking & snapping noises, and I'm terrible fearful of one crashing through our roof.

Good morning/afternoon! Instead of coffee today I decided to drink a energy drink. Its not the same. I'll pass on the topic of the day....I bombarded my hubs cell phone with photos from my journeys last night.

I wish Dexter offered DIY like flavoring and whatnot. I am having a big issue with SSL with a few sites. I see the enticement in the deals and steal threads...go to site and only to find a problem with their security connection. (I am really .... with the security/encryption)

Not yet but I think she is at work! We are right at the end of the Blue Ridge so it traveled right to us. The house bounced up and down pretty good! Tg had to have felt it!

My aunt in MD had some stuff fall off walls and such. Family outside Pittsburgh felt it too. News is saying no reports of any injuries have come in so far though

My sister is in DC at the moment at a conference.

Sounds like they evac'ed a couple DC Govt buildings as a precaution. Can't blame them with 9/11 fast approaching. I'd be jumpy too

You might be surprised if you look at where the fault lines are running through this state. We have just been lucky so far I think.

BTW- The quake today had nothing at all to do with our fault lines I am just pointing out that many are surprised to find that we do have them

4 more hours! I don't think I can take any more. I never thought a day would come where I was hiding under my desk! That was the scariest thing I ever felt before!

My office is about 20 miles north of DC and the roof was swaying. A few things wer knocked around on some desks but that is about it.
