Just checking on news of TT.

And Sd.....Tolerance of all religions should be the norm for us all......how can we not be open to any possibility? I enjoy reading about them all, and the history channel has had some excellent programs regarding different religions. Good and bad for each of them, and more people have died in the name of religion than any other cause and this is usually based on intolerance.

I'm like you, Techno---I enjoy reading anything that gives me pause...to stop and think. Food for thought.

Well, I just made a batch of fresh salsa, totally slobbed up my nice clean kitchen so guess I had better clean that up...will keep checking back for news on TT. Hopefully SC or someone can give us an update soon.

I don't think that SC would know anything that we don't :) I am sure that TT is sleeping off the anesthesia and will check in here when he is up and about :) Now Free may have heard something but I am sure that he is just resting now :)

No worries though if we don't hear anything by tonight I will give he or his wife a call. I just don't want to bother him while he is resting :) He and Free keep in contact via text and I will check with her. It is only 3:30 PM his time though.

I didn't mean it like that. It helped me understand my mother's faith so much. Sometimes (I) get swayed along the path. I don't judge others but sometimes it helps to look at the road at different angles. I had a difficult time during my mom's passing and I just wanted to understand religion/concepts more. I am actually researching a practice of death midwivery.
However, its not catching on in WI and I would probably perform this if I lived on the West Coast.

Sd--I was not directing my post toward you...my post was agreeing with you on finding tolerance in all religions. Did not mean to imply you were judging anybody. I think your reading choices are great.

TT--love seeing those likes go off---now come on and tell us how you are. If you are loopy, we won't be able to tell the difference.

LOL, that salem can always tell where I'm at by the "Likes" button. That's funny!

Well, I survived the procedure. It was a little uncomfortable and was performed by my cardiologist, but I made it through it. I think the only stoopid comments I made were in relation to a little sign that said "Please Keep Your Feet Off The Wall." Now you know something like that would hit me sideways and my mouth took off with it. I was conjuring up all kinds of situations where people would have their feet on the wall.

I think I cracked up the nurses when I kept sliding down in the bed and finally announced that I had given myself a snuggy! And I got into a mini-arguement with my wife about sleeping and snoring. She said I did and I said I didn't.

The cardiologist said that the valve in question was in much better condition than he had expected and I was to come back to his office in a month for a follow-up. He also said the infection in my right ankle was clearing up nicely. So it appears there will be no valve replacement and I'm just to continue on the medications I'm already on.

So my friends, once again your prayers and kind thoughts have come through and produced excellent results. My wife and I were both thrilled with what we were told. We couldn't have got such good news without you guys!

We stopped and bought some Church's Fried Chicken on the way home and a cup of coffee for me to sip on. When we got home I ate, then got in my recliner and just woke up a short while ago. Feeling good and drinking iced tea like its going out of style!

Love ya all and THANKS!!!

TT and Wifey

And I bet you got biscuits with that chicken too :) Church's Chicken is pretty darn good and so are the biscuits lol

Yep, got biscuits too and when we got home wifey put a little butter and jelly on a couple for me. Not as good as SecondBreath's home made jams, but not bad. And to be honest, my wifes fried chicken is even better than Church's ... if you can image. But its certainly not bad.

I was sooo hungry when all that was over. I usually have a light breakfast ... oatmeal ... and I don't know if I was so hungry because I missed my oatmeal or if it was because I'd been denied all food this morning ... but I was starved. The cup of coffee my wife stopped and bought for me on the way home probably saved my life!
