Here I am!!!

Thank all of you sooooo much for the nice wishes. I just wish I could wrap my arms around all of you and give you big hugs.

Thank goodness I have a sweet honey girl that takes good care of me (the fact that her degree was in Nursing never hurt anything), but the point is she kinda babies me. But anyhow, I am feeling a little better - not over it, but a lot better.

Like cousin K-Space says, I have to learn to drink upstream of the herd.

That'll get you every time!

I guess everyone pretty well knows by now that I like to tease and joke a little bit but the one real important thing in my life has always been my wife. I love my kids more than you can imagine, but my wife is really special.

Most of my working life was spent outside the USA and I've dragged that poor gal from the jungles of South America and all over Europe, the Middle East and Asia. And it wasn't always in the nicest places. And you know what? She never complained once.

She coordinated getting the kids educated, took care of all our business in the States, was with me as much as possible boiling on the equator and freezing in northern Russia. There were a lot of nice places she enjoyed and many ... not so nice. Any place we went she was immediately out shopping for food, setting up bank accounts, finding dry cleaners (if there were any) you just can't imagine the number of things that has to be done. And she did it all. And almost always in a language she didn't speak!!! All I had to do was go to work. I really had the easy part.

And she always nursed me back to health when I was sick.

Every day is Mothers Day at my house!

TT you may possibly be the sweetest man that I know! And my husband is pretty darn sweet :) We have also run the gamut of good times and bad. Honestly I feel it is the bad times that draw you closer and make the good times so much better :)

Yep. You have to experience it all. The good and the bad - or you'd never know what the other experience was like.
