Yes it was Jerry. There's lot of statues and monuments in the park and the eternal flame.

Pickett's charge is the one that get's me, an entire regiment cut to pieces. He never forgave Lee, for sending his troops into that slaughter.

I was there a little over 10 years ago. They had an observation tower that's since been torn down. Other than that—and paved roads—it can't be far different than it was in 1863.

Lee's strength was fighting a defensive battle and counterpunching. Both of his offensive incursions into the north didn't end well (Sharpsburg, Gettysburg).
