Last night it was around 35 degree's and i had to bring in all my fig tree's.
Went grocery shopping yesterday and for once did not have any problems with people and there carts.
The deli counter was crowed as usual.
Blackhawks won there hockey game over the weekend to force a game 6 tonight and they must win to have a game 7 there down 3 games to 2 in best of 7 game series.
The creep that sent one of our best players out of the game and to the hospital on the Phoenix team was suspended by the league for 25 games its not his first time .

Hey everybody, good afternoon.

I got a LOT of mowing done today! I'm happy about that and now tomorrow I can get on the tractor and get after some serious mowing!

And ... I just got an interesting telephone call a little while ago. They are going to deliver the computer I had built tomorrow evening after six p.m. WoooHooo!! Ask me if I'm ready for it!!!!

I had given honey girl my computer and was using the laptop ... then when I had to go in the danged hospital again I had the new computer put of hold until I found out what the deal was and a while after I got out I contacted them and asked them to go ahead and finish it. And its finally done.

And I also got some even better news today ... if you can believe that its possible.

A friend of mine developed a cancerous tumor in his throat a while back and we submitted his name to the prayer list group we belong to. These are people from all over the country and even other countries. This fella hadn't worked in a long time after getting laid off from the job he had so a mutual friend gave him a place to live and a some of us who know him helped him out with a few bucks to keep him going during his illness.

He went to his oncologist yesterday and got the news that this tumor was in complete remission and was getting smaller. They are going to start him on therapy to get his voice back up again.

Pretty amazing, huh?

This news sure put a smile on my face, I'll tell ya that!

Woot on the new computer TT!!!

And God works in mysterious ways...we just have to talk to him.

Amen Sister!

Hi all!
It's good to come by here and see everyone!

Good Afternoon everyone. The weather has been downright nasty from the rain coming off of the Nor' Easter. It was just 80 degrees three days ago *sighs* Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.

Congrats 757!

I know the weather was warm, my wife and I were in Williamsburg Thursday through Saturday. Weather was awesome!

What a nice city that is too! Some of the places are like going back in time 200 years

Wife's cousin made us (she and I) a HUGE margarita and it was perfect! This lady knows her tequila bottle!! I hinted about a second one but my wife gave me the evil eye so I'll hold off until tomorrow and then I'll beg for another one.

Right now the gals have gone downstairs to fix me a bowl of dewberry cobbler and a little ice cream. Honey girl picked the dewberries yesterday and made the cobbler while the berries were fresh.

I sure do have a tough life.

But I like this being pampered!
