I am going to try some ginkgo. Luckily, I have some I bought but never used. The ringing is so bad I am willing to go thru nic cravings to get rid of it. It feels like a constant motor sound in my head....Okay off to take the ginkgo. No more pain meds for me. :)

Have you looked to see if there is a motor attached to your head?

Hi Gummy, :)

I've suffered from the pulsing thing in the ears. It's enough to drive you crazy. It happens less since I quite smoking and the only time it happens now is when my sinuses are driving me nuts.

Never had the ringing though. Hope it goes away soon!

I spent years working in the engine rooms of some of the worlds biggest ships. When your in there you have a set of those little fomey ear plugs and then a set of the full ear muffs. and still you are about 15 to 20 dBs above the allowed.
So Tinnitus is a way of life. When we go camping Tina comments about the Cicadas. Huh? what? oh hell we have them at home. No we don't she says.

I went completely deaf in my left ear years ago. My ENT said that it was sudden hearing loss and I would never regain the hearing. I had the ringing in my ear and it will drive you mad. Luckily, the ENT decided to try me on a round of steroids just in case it helped to recover some of my hearing.
I was lucky that it did because deafness, even just in one ear is quite a handicap.

If I have as much trouble with my allergies and sinus inflammation as I am now, it is still very hard to hear from that ear.

Go get it checked out Sd. You will not forgive yourself if you wait too long and are stuck with it for life. Sometimes in the early stages of various issues there are treatments that work. The longer you wait, the less likely you will be to get relief.

I like nicotine in small doses, MEN, and ice cream and not necessarily in that order.

The thought of a root beer float has been haunting me for the last couple of hours.

Try some whiped rum and root beer tastes like a root beer float with an added kick caution they can be addictive

I have ringing in my ears since I was 8 lit a fire cracker and went to throw it it went off by my ear darn fast burning fuse . Can't hear low tones .

Eww so understand this. A few years back son and I were in the pool. I watch this object being thrown. I thought it was a baseball. In seconds there was this loud boom. It took days for me to get back to where I could hear decent. Since then I have trouble with some tones. A lot of voices are a problem and my daughter's voice is one of them.
I still get ticked when I think about it. :grr:
