TT, Your wifey must be a real sweetie. To stay there with you all through the test like that. She's probably real tired today too.
If I lived closer I'd bring over some casserole or something for the both of you. But I'm all the way up here in the North...so instead heres some hugs; ((TT)) ((Mrs.TT))

Thank you techno, and yes, she has been dragging all day and I don't blame her. But it sure was better for me having her there! And you're a sweetie!!

Hey TT! We are the same way. My hubs dropped an older computer monitor on his foot. OMG! Blood everywhere. Most normal people would have went to the ER. Not the hubs. He told me to use my charm and wits and fix it! Unfortunately he was taking allot of fish oil. It took awhile to get the blood to actually clot. Luckily, I had some 3M butterfly stitches and applied. (aka steri-strips).

Hope your grandson is feeling better!

I had numerous head injuries before the age of two! :) I think it is called dropped baby syndrome. Oops!

You just can't beat a good woman who has knowledge and Butterfly bandages!

And they never dropped you on your head. Your sweet and precious!

Hey, Sdh you reminded me...Sometime last night, while I was sleeping, I went over 1000 likes!! I was very excited!
It was probably either Toto or TT who put me there, so thank you both very much.:rickroll:
We need more PRIZES around here.

Which reminds me...TT - Toto won a prize last night, and I sort of told her that you'd grant her anything she wished...hope that was OK...

Absolutely no problem dahlin.'

Her wish will be granted.

If its within my power to do so.

Which ain't real likely, but we'll see.

Well, Toto was the 5000th post in TT's house...we thought she deserved something. Since TT wasn't here to supervise us..we told her she could "name her prize". (and by "us" and "we" I mean "me").

LOL, seeeeee, it was within my power!!!!!

I was wishing you would take care of it!

Now that's some power lady!!!

Hi Everybody,

Just been going through all the pages trying to catch up. Whew! That's a lot of reading.

I taped the Saints game while I was gone last night and am watching it now. I know they lost, but their still MY TEAM so I have to watch the game. Green Bay is very impressive!

I got to the hospital for the sleep study and they didn't give me any drugs of any kind which is good I guess. Then the guy fixed about a thousand wires from my beautiful bod to a black box and told me to have a nice sleep. Yeah, sure. He was back in three minutes fixing the wires I had already pulled out and this process went on for a long time. Fix wires, leave, back, fix wires, leave, back ...

I don't know how they expect a guy to sleep with all that stuff on him. I also made a mistake. I wore a T shirt because I don't own any pajamas and the T shirt rode up and choked me. And they had bands of things across my chest so I couldn't take the T shirt off. That didn't help.

Well I couldn't sleep with all that stuff on me and not being able to move to get comfortable and the guy coming back in to reconnect wires I had pulled loose ... I was doing it on purpose now ... and I was vaping under the blanket and he said I smelled like caramel. I just smiled.

Half way through the night after I had finally dozed off he comes into the room, throws on the flood lights and proclaims that I don't have enough oxygen in my brain. I told him that if he had met me yesterday, he would have said the same thing.

He said, "Sir, why do you smell like caramel?" I just smiled some more.

So he slaps this mask on me that's blowing air into my face about like a Category Three hurricane and says "there. You'll sleep better now." I said "Grumph ump arrrgh flaaaatz ya ba Sturd." So now I have this mask and its hose and still have all the wires and finally just said the he77 with it and went to sleep.

After I got up this morning and got my teeth brushed and got my clothes on I told him I was a little crippled and made him wheel me to my truck in a wheel chair.

I had to get even with him somehow.

My wife stayed with me through all this and the poor girl often rolls her eyes when she's around me. Last night she spent more time rolling her eyes than I had seen in a long time. I told her they were going to get stuck like that but she won't listen.

So its over and done with. Some doctor is supposed to read the results and I guess they'll contact me about getting a mask of my very own.

Hooray!

TT

Ahh T. Yet again you prove the old addage: "It's not the tale, it's the telling".

You two are likely just as bad as me .... you probably just don't admit it the way I do. LOL

I'm sure glad that sleep study stuff is done with though. I have one more visit with my heart doctor that I really need to make and then wifey and I should be free to get on the road with our big, ol' travel trailer. By that time things should be starting to cool off a bit and we can just go and have some fun.

This has been a busy, busy year with all the family's medical problems and getting mine completely out of the way is the last of it. Thank goodness. There's been some things I haven't mentioned such as my cowboy roping star grandson getting bucked off a horse and having an injury to his head (thank goodness it wasn't any part of his body that he uses much) and grandkids with the usual assortment of summertime injuries.

I don't mean to sound like I take all this lightly ... I don't. But these are country/ranch kids that get a paper towel or dirty handkerchief and wipe the blood off and keep on going. At least until parents/grandparents see the wound/injury. That's when you begin to see the hysterical people running around and kids being hauled to the doctor or emergency room.

TT

I dunno TT we pretty much tell it like it is :)

I know! We need international time. You 'Mericans don't mind night being sunny and day being dark do you?

My SIL has been to Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana from his native Texas.

He honestly cannot comprehend the time differences between the USA and a place such as Australia.

He also cannot comprehend the fact that that I am not up at 5:30 in the morning.
