Hello all,
Glad to hear you made it through TT. They make many different masks so you can find one you like. some have a connector for oxygen hose so we should be able to figure out a way to attach a pv. I use a nasal pillow style mask since my pressure was so high the standard mask would never seal.

You can look around at CPAP Masks | Full Face CPAP Masks | CPAP Nasal Mask & Nasal Pillow or CPAP.com - CPAP Masks and see some of the different setups.

Might be best to wait until you go to your cpap supplier and try them on and also see what they have available. The ones online may or may not be right for you and may or may not be available through your supplier :) JMHO but I have looked online and what looks like it may work good might not end up being comfortable or right for you :)

Sure was nice of my wife to stay there with me at the hospital.

I know she wasn't comfortable either and just having her there made a difference for me.

She's a pretty nice gal.

I am really surprised that they let her stay. That is great that they did though :)

But yeah those recliners are not very comfortable at all :(

Hey, thanks for that information oly!!

I'll check all that out this evening!

LOL, salem, what did your Mom think of all that?

TT

Like I said she cringed when I told her you fell to 70% saturation and thats coming from a person that has COPD and Emphysema :)

Now I did not tell her that I was betting the nurses were wondering what you were fiddling with under the covers lol I left that part out :) I told her your description of a cat 3 Hurricane and she laughed. Her machine is set at 10, mine at 12. When she tried mine her cheeks puffed up with air lol Just takes some getting used to.

My heart doctor says that is probably the reason I've had so little drive lately and get winded so easily. Do y'all think he could be right on that?

Nursie T promised to stop by after work tonight and check on you. She is well educated on the respiratory system and may be able to give you more info :)

Yeah, it will be nice to see what Nursie T thinks ... my big hope is that it will help me with the breathlessness and lethargy.

I think oly went to check his readings from his tests and will be back. Yeah, we need to know how his house is doing!
