Dr. prescribed Lipitor for DH a couple years ago. He refused the expensive med and they prescribed the generic Prevastatin instead. It's cheap and works well. He also takes heart meds-beta blockers. 7 Prescriptions in all.

OMG I just filled my coffee tank with menthol ARGGGGGGG

Salem, I am glad to hear Bov is ok. I havent spoken to her much, but I saw the posts about her missing abnd was curious about the outcome. The biggest question is what about her batteries? Have they been charged? Do they have a power source available?

I am not much help on the meds, but I do have a little to share. My wife and daughter are on a few different Rx's and our insurance plan is a ltlle strange in that we don't pay a copay for the meds, we pay for them in full and there is a company reimbursement plan that covers those costs. Anyway, the meds are expensive!
Our grocery chain has a fuel rewards program that will give a discount at Shell gas stations for purchases made at the grocery store. Someting like 10 cents off a gallon for every $100 spent at the store

But they triple the points for prescriptions! Spending $400 in meds will get $1.20 off per gallon of gas.
They way I see it, I am spending the $400 anyway, might as well get the rewards too!

I found you all when TT was down and out for a while but neglected to keep coming by...yep, I suck like that =P
So...now I have subscribed and don't have an excuse for not popping in and blabbering about something totally off topic now and again. =)

Hey Cassie! Good to see you here ;)

She has no power source but hopefully enough precharged batteries to get by with :)

Hey Cassie! Good to see you here ;)

I'm pretty sure that leaves us out but I will try it. Thanks for the warning Salem. Now do you have a cure for me filling my coffee tank with menthol?? LOL. Going to be one of those days.

Hey it won't hurt to give it a shot for sure! I used to belong to another forum with many people that needed help with meds. At that time there were many resources available such as needymeds.
It seems that over the last year most of them have one condition or another that disqualifies many people that need the help :( But it would be worth trying to qualify IMO

    Always welcome, Pad.

Although the ideas are running low at the moment - I am struggling with an avi theme like no other; sci-fi and collies, WTH? ;)

Only so much brain power for this kind of stuff you know.

I agree. I know I want to change my avi to honor SC and TV but sci fi and collies! Wow!
    Should be interesting!

I am thinking that it will be safe to do sci fi on Sunday since I believe that TV will turn in the wee hours of Monday morning and collies on Monday since we know that SC will turn at 10:25 PM CST
    on Monday ;)

Now how the heck did that first quote end up here? This forum is acting screwy!

If you use the multi-quote function that happens sometimes. Hey all, went to bed with a headache and woke up with it. Took some aspirin and starting to feel better. This time of year kills my sinuses. On that note.

I am technologically (sp?) deprived. I don't have a clue how to change my Avi like that for the turnings.
