K-Space, I don't know where you and 5card come up with stuff like this, but its some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen!

The ONLY problem is that the old man Wilford cartoon looks too - incredibly - much like me!!!

Funny, funny, funny!!!!

TT

And I thought this was you all this time TT. I'm shattered.

Sorry I'm late getting on here tonight. I was running Windows Malicious Software Program and it took forever. I only had 17 virus's, but since I was already over that belly flu I didn't worry none about those virus's.

But the thing that made me mad was that the program told me I was an INVALID. Now my knees are in bad shape and I guess I have a little bit of a limp, but I'm not an invalid! I mean I don't use a walker or anything like that.

My recommendation is that if you were planning on using Windows Malicious Software Program that you don't do it.

It will just make you mad.

Hey TT!! You are up w/ us night owls, LOL. I try to stay far, far away from Windows.

Sent from my MacBook :)

I tried to get away from Windows and got that Umbutu or whatever they call it.

Messed my computer up so bad I had to put it in the shop and the guy in the shop had to send it to another guy to get my computer working again.

I had a great big, old fat nap this afternoon, so I'm wide awake tonight.

TT

Sent from my empty Copenhagen can and copper wire from the phone company using Morse Code

Hey TT,

Forget about Ubutntu and do a fresh complete compile of Gentoo. That way you can spend 3 days compiling the operating system and do absolutely everything from the command line. You have not seen anything until you see the internet in nothing but text. I was so excited the first time I did this that I deleted my entire hard drive, threw my PC in the dumpster behind Arby's and bought another Windows PC. Oh the joy's of life.

Now I'm sittin' on my plaid couch on my front lawn in pure bliss talking to you all' that the smile on my face can't explain it.

Enjoy!

DeXTeR, you live close enough to an Arby's that you can throw your computer in their dumpster?

You lucky dog you!

Man, if I had an Arby's dumpster close to my house I'd be in hog heaven! I'd guard that dumpster with a shotgun!

Aw, computers are fun. I remember back when they first came out and you had to do everything in DOS. Pretty much like what your talking about I think. But it is a love/hate relationship. A nice plaid couch in the front yard out there by the boat is a love relationship.

And Pokey, my wife (all 650 pounds of her) is very frugal. Actually, she's a freakin tightwad. When I retired for good she cancelled the smart phone thing, got us each a WallyWorld phone where you buy the minutes in advance and that's what we use.

For me it works out good because I never talk on the danged thing anyhow. Really don't even know what the phone number is ...

Computers definitely are a love/hate thing! Immediately after I sent that post, my internet (RoadRunner) went out AGAIN! I have had so much trouble from RR lately. I would have stayed and chatted with you but my ISP had other ideas :-( I called to voice my displeasure, and customer service said it was out so they could "upgrade" the system. Unfortunately, I've not noticed it running any faster today!

Woooohooooo, we got two tenths of an inch of rain today! Sure was glad to see it.

I don't have any swimming trucks, but we live way out in the country anyhow and there's nobody else around so I just went out in the yard and did my little dance in the rain in my undershorts and cowboy hat. That would have been a real sight to behold if anybody had driven down our dirt road!

You could smell the rain (and that's probably not all) and it was wonderful.

Then my wife and I fixed a picnic basket and then went next door to that little hill right beside the Sewage Treatment Plant and enjoyed the cool air. It was a nice picnic.

And we didn't even lose our electricity. Pretty amazing. So we got a little rain and still get to watch television tonight.

This has been a big day in East Texas!
