Shouldn't it be a law that everyone should have a holiday/vacation day for their birthday? Everyone except TT that is. Every day is a vacation day for him! :glare:

I worked for a company that used to give us a vaca day during your birthday week. We lost it during negotiations in the late 80's. But, what was funny, was most people took the day AFTER their BD off. We called it the hang-over clause!

Makes perfect sense. I'll just be going to visit the fam for my and my daughter's b-day, so no hangovers for me! Hopefully just some yummy cake and maybe a present.

Hey Vapor Junction-ettes!!! Good Morning!! Rise and shine y'all!!

Hope everybody is doing good today.

I've got the coffee all made for my honey girl and when she wakes up all I have to do is push the button on the machine and we'll be drinking some real nice coffee while she yells at me about something that I've done. I don't know what today's topic will be but I'm sure I've done something and if I haven't I probably will so she'll yell at me about that.

With all the good husbandly guidance and lectures I get you'd think old TT is probably the most perfect human being that ever lived but I'm not because it seems I still mess up on a pretty regular basis. I even told the preacher a few weeks ago that I didn't see much sense in me getting up early and going to Sunday School because there wasn't nothing I could think of that my honey girl hadn't already given me a lecture on.

He just looked at me funny and said to keep on coming and don't miss a Sunday. I wonder what he meant by that?

So I guess we'll just get all dressed up and go to WallyMart today. The Social Security check came yesterday. You 48 year olds don't ever need to worry about paying taxes on those taxes you were charged because I don't guess you'll ever see one of those checks. But just think of all the money you'll save because you won't be taxed on that Social Security like I am.

I love to go to WallyMart and look at the places where everything was made. Its like taking a trip around the world. And out by the front door when your leaving they sell these corney dogs on a stick and I just can't tell you how much I love those corney dogs! Now ma'am, that is some fine eating!

And the Whatsthatburger is having a sale on cheeseburgers this weekend. Two for the price of three. So I have to go get in on that deal!

They were calling for a 60% chance of rain here yesterday but as usual we didn't get any. This country sure is drying up bad. Last night was Friday Fright Night on the television set so I didn't go outside except to throw out some dog food for the cat fish, but sitting in the house I never heard the bug zapper go off even once. Its so dry all the bugs have left for wetter places I guess.

Well, its about time for the Saturday Hog Sale Prices to come on the radio so I guess I'd better get off here. I like to listen to that. I don't have a clue what their talking about but I listen real careful then when I go up to town I just repeat what they said on the radio and everybody thinks I'm real smart.

Cool beans, huh?

Love y'all

Happy Saturday Morning TT & friends!
At our house it's a little different. I get up before Mr. Techno, so that I can make a LIST of what to start yelling at him as soon as he opens his baby blues. He's actually pretty well trained by his previous wife, but I have to keep him on his toes or he'll think he can spend the day watching sports and doing laundry.
It's a lovely sunny day here finally, so after he mows the lawn and cleans up the kitchen, I may let him take me into town for some fresh seafood and shoe shopping. Then, if he's really good - we'll go visit the new grandbaby and he may even get a turn holding the little peanut!

Have a lovely weekend & I hope you get some of the rainy drizzle you need down there!
