LOL, it would probably be easier to tell you which carto I'm NOT using. I have some of all of them.

The Liquinator is nice with the mega duel coil,

I do need to talk to him about getting some stainless DC's so I can use them with the Liquinator. All he has right now is the black.

Quite a few people seem to be going with the duel coils exclusively.

I haven't tried it yet but Ravenscroft has said to tap just a very small, single hole into the DC carto and to tamp down the filler with a straw.

Since he's been doing those two things, no more leaks.

I do love the DCs and hope to be able to try the 2.0ohm ones, soon. I've been sticking with the Fusion in my tank, for now, although the last IKV mega 808 I had in there lasted nearly 3 weeks. Pretty amazing.

TT, stainless is the way to go. Tell Dexter to hop on it. LOL

That's the new Buzz Pro he's got it on in the first pic. Now I want a blue one and a purple (magurple) to match to the tanks he's building.

It used to be all about matching the DTs to the PV; now I'm going the other direction, LOL!

Hi Nursie T,

No, I haven't had any problem at all with leakage. They make 510 stainless cartos available (pre-cut) when you buy the Liquinator. As you start preparing your own you might want to try what Pokey said on tapping just a very small, single hole into the DC carto and to tamp down the filler with a straw.

I've been using my Dremmel Tool to prepare my own and I find I like to make the little cut up higher on the carto than it is when you buy the Liquincator. My wife donated a fine, metal nail file to the cause.

The one problem I have run into is that most of my vaping gear is 808 and I tend to buy a lot of 510 stuff, so I use adapters a lot. When the Liquinator would get down on that seam between the carto and adapter it would leak. So using mega-duel coils lets you make the cut higher and I put a little "O" ring right above that seam. No more leak.

My Phidias is a 510 so I can put the Liquinator right on it with no problem at all.

I really like the Jonboy's that Pokey is showing, but they weren't out when I bought mine. I might have to get a couple of those. Really nice looking.

So again Travis, you'd better be getting the mega-510 duel coils and the mega-510's and some mega 0808's in stainless!!! The Liquinators are coming!

Well my Army friend just may have the solution to the leaks He is going to try putting a piece of small ss or plastic tube down the middle. If the juice can't get there it can't leak. Oh yeah and he has a whole bunch of people at his disposal with the right tools I do know of someone that makes 2 tiny holes instead of slits on either side of the carto with no leaks but I am hoping that AG will have a really good solution

I thought of you today TT I drove for about 10.5 hours in BLINDING rain lol Yep, it started about 30 miles from my house and went for the next 200 miles and all of the way back. But not a single drop made it to my house

Here is what my army friend just told me about the results-

hey salem, I managed to get a DC tank to work all night wih no leaks. I just wish I could find a way to do away with the filler...still not bad though. used the 2 small holes you told me about then extended the air tub through the upper stem of the tank with the cleaned out metal ink cartridge of an old pen. need a different material for the air tube cause I taste brass but it worked pretty well.

I told him that another friend suggested using plastic

Jonboy has some tanks now that take cartos (instead of the CE2's) and I hope to get one or two eventually. His tanks are very handsome. He wasn't selling them when I got my Liquinators.

The only time I ever had a problem with a leak was on a duel coil and I used too wide a cutting disc on my Dremmel. I might have also cut two slots.

Now I use my smallest/thinnest cutting blade, just make a marginal opening and only one. No more leaks. I use a fine metal nail file I stole ... I mean borrowed from my wife to file off any excess metal so that I don't damage the seal on the tank.

And Pokey, I've got as long as three weeks off the Fusions and duel coils too which is a good savings.

I don't have any complaints with them except I feel they may mute the flavor just a little bit. And I'm not even certain of that ... it might just be me.

Some flavors do better in some cartos more than others, TT, IMO.

You know I have many to choose from, as well; the Fusions just are scratching the itch right now.

Sometimes you just got to pick one and go with it - it gets tiring trying to be perfect all the time.

I was in a bit of a stupor this morning, TT. I think I read/interpreted what you were saying incorrectly...but either way, it's all good between us.

I can't tell if the flavor's muted or not in my Liquinator, TT. I only have the one and it's filled with menthol. And, sometimes, muting that flavor is a good thing.

Overall, I think that the "fresh carto" vape lasts a long, long time and that's a win in my book. That, and I really like not having to top off a carto. If I'm going to drip, I'm going to use an atty - and I know how you feel about that, lol. I used to feel the same way, but I've come around in recent weeks.

Even old dogs can relearn old tricks with the right equipment. And a lot of practice.

Well, for the last two days I've been getting my shotgun and hunting that crazy turkey.

I looked all through the weeds in the yard, over by the Sewage Treatment Plant next door, down by the creek, went down to old Jack Schitt's place and out in the woods. Couldn't find the turkey and figured it was on its way back to techno's brothers place. Good riddance.

So this afternoon its real hot and I thought I'd go out and lay down on the plaid couch out there by the boat because its in the shade of the boat and there was a little breeze blowing.

I'm there snoozing up a pretty good storm when the sound of breathing awoke me ... and I knew what it was coming from without ever opening my eyes.

The Turkey!!!

I didn't know what I was going to do but I knew I had to open my eyes, so I crank them open real slow .... and sure enough there was the turkey.

It was fanning me with one wing and shading me from the sun with the other one! It was laying right beside me on the couch and the one thing I could see immediately was the love in its eyes. That bird was in LOVE with me!!! I mean real love!!! Just like old Thelma Lou in eleventh grade in school!! Love!

That bird has not stopped following me around and won't let anyone or anything get near me. Its very possessive and guards me like a hawk ... so to speak. The dog can't come get petted, my wife almost can't be in the same room and the turkey chased the hog out of the house!

Heh, heh, I took the turkey for a ride in my pick up truck and it hung its head out the window and enjoyed the wind just like a dog does. And its sitting here now with its head on my lap.

I think I can get used to having a nice turkey for a pet. I like her.
