Glad you are feeling better, T. I bet your "feeding the alligator" episode had to bring some of your spunk back. LOL

Salem, I wish it was just a coffee pot that went out here. In the last 3-4 weeks, we've had to put in a new water heater, order parts to fix the dryer and the stove and now a new washing machine this weekend because it started smoking the other night. Think I'm ready for more than coffee, but now can't afford a bottle of the good stuff. Gotta any booze you'll trade for a coffee pot? LOL

And is it not every coffee drinker's fear that the pot will croak before it makes our coffee? Sorry, Salem. Know how much that first cup is looked forward to every morning. There is always the method my grandmother-in-law used......she just threw some grounds and water in a pan, boiled it, then strained it. Needless to say, when we visited her, we always turned down the "coffee". I think I read on a juice review thread, the reviewer said the juice tasted like licking a skunk's behind---yep, that was her morning drink aptly described.

Tile is all up--now needs to dry for 48 hours before it can be grouted, then it gets sealed. Quite a project, but looks great so far thanks to my managerial skills.

The "likey" buttons present some problems, I have to agree. There are those of us who are pretty free with hitting them and our likes become diluted in the opinions of others because of it.

Then there are those posts you hesitate to like because the OP is not so free in passing them out themselves and you don't want to appear frivolous in their eyes.

Then, like gramva mentioned, there are those days when I, myself, am too engrossed and just enjoying what I'm reading to pay mind to the likey button and either just forget to hit it or don't think to do so.

It can become a burden if you think on it too hard; I refuse to do that anymore. If I like something, good for me. If I don't like it, it doesn't mean a thing; I still like you.

Unless, you just didn't make me pause or giggle or babble or I am thick-headed; and, for those instances, I still say we need a WTF?? button.

You know when I lived in Ohio they had 3.2 beer and 7.0 beer. ( I think) But you could drink 3.2 if you were 18 ( I was not) and 7.0 if you were 21. But Coors was illegal there for some reason and I knew people that would drive south and bring coors back by the truck loads. It was a very hot commodity!
