Heyyyyyyy Pokey,

Is the coffee ready?

I see you caught the tail end of the enema conversation. I can't believe how many pages of yacking we went through last night. Oh, and did you see salem's information on how many people have been to this Page and how many have Posted?

Isn't that amazing?

Oh!!! Good Morning to you!

Well, now.
Good Morning TT and all.

You just never know what you're going to find when you come back to TT's House, now do you?

I'd never be able to give you a run-down on my tastes in music - it's all over the place. Mostly dependent on mood, the actual music, the lyrics, the associations to the piece; it runs the gamut from classical to rock. Not so much on disco, sorry Techno- although a few songs from that time make me smile from the memories associated with. :)

I'd never be able to list them all, but rest assured I can sing along with the old and not so old stuff. Hmmmm... this week its been Matchbox20, GreenDay, Evanescence, and Boston. Last week was the Beatles, Queen, Blondie, Heart, and a healthy dose of Mozart - go figure. Oh, and some Aerosmith and Nirvana thrown in there too...LOL.

Today I'm leaning towards the Mills Brothers and Sam Cooke. Who knows? It's all in the soul of the moment, where my head's at -because I can certainly cry in my beer with Hank; rejoice at the imagery of Strauss; and sing my voice hoarse to most everything in between.

Except rap. That's not music; that's poo.

Wow, you and I are in complete agreement when it comes to music ... and most everything else I guess. And Sam Cooke is one of my all time favorites! Loved his sound!

Well, I guess you guys are following the information on the hurricane. Are you guys inland Pokey? I hope so. Their saying that storm could be a Cat 4 by the time it gets to the Carolina's Saturday evening. If you're near the coast, boarding up and getting out is surely in your plans.

Today, we're on day 50 with fifty consecutive days of temperatures over 100 degrees. I don't know how long its been now since we've seen any rain.

Boy, the coffee is goooood this morning!

90 miles from the coast, TT. But with the storm turning easterly, we'll only catch the back quadrants - if that.

We still watch, though. They've been wrong many, many times!

BRB. Cup needs refilling!

Yeah, it sounds like you would be okay where your at. I know when Katrina hit down here we had some very strong wind but we were on the "bad" side of the hurricane. We lost a few trees, but that was about it.

Almost right away as you went south though, you started seeing damaged homes, roofs, barns, etc.

I am still trying to catch up.
All synapses are not firing this morning, regardless of the caffeine I keep drowning them in.

Ever had a day like that, TT?
I imagine we all do. :)

I haven't a clue as to figure out how many people have been by - unless they post, lol. More should do just that - it was nice to see 5c stopping by for a visit.

Surely, we can't be scaring them off, can we?? :D

Good Morning all you poo and enema obsessed people. I see I missed out on a lot chitty conversations last night. Sure does make me feel pissy this morning, that I missed out on that. NOT!!!!!!!
Am hoping everyone is improving. Is the antibiotic still doing its thing, TT? And Salem, hoping you are back to normal (?) this morning. And SIC, will be thinking of you, hoping they do not prod too much.
Morning, Pokey. Good to see you.

Hi gramva,

LOL, my wife slept in this morning, I guess she was tired from dragging me around to all the doctors and hospitals the poor dear. I was waiting for her to wake up so I could make her coffee fresh for her and I dozed off again in my recliner. She woke up and made more coffee so now I'm on round two.

The anitbiotic seems to be doing great gramva, thanks for asking! The bright red skin is almost back to normal, but I still have some pretty bad swelling in my right foot. Doing a lot better though. And evidently from what all my Nursies on here have told me, I must have had that infection system-wide and that's what was making me sick. I don't have the sickness part any more, so I think overall I'm improving rapidly.

That's mainly from all the clean living I've done and from being as pure as the driven snow and abstinence from wine, wild women and song a couple times. But like you, I hope all the others are feeling better this morning. Its them I'm concerned with. Their a wild bunch compared to pure, little, old me and you.

T your prolly right...on the other hand I bet they would tell me that I do!..... the wifey says shes has to roll me during the night cuz I stop breathin... guess that ain't a good thing huh??? :)

SC

SC! People die that way! If your wife was not awake to roll you and you didn't wake up to start breathing again well you wouldn't start breathing again! This is really nothing to play around with!

My wife has decided she wants to have the sleep study done too. She really does need it. The poor darling snores like a diesel mechanic! Well, she IS a diesel mechanics, but still, she doesn't need to snore like one.

But I'll bet you a nickle they tell me I don't have sleep apnea. Betcha!

TT

I will take that bet and raise ya to boot! If you had it once you still have it. There is no cure (except surgery in severe cases) and you didn't just outgrow it :)

LOL, yeah Pokey. Your right, we all have days like that. Don't concern yourself with it. Just enjoy your day and concentrate on the nice smiles you bring everybody every day!

I don't know how or where salem gets her information on the number of people who have visited these pages of ours and how many have stopped to visit, but she's good at things like that. The numbers really surprised me though. And like I said earlier, I wish more of them would stop and visit with us. This isn't a closed conversation and any one and every one is welcome to join in! Any time. We'd love to hear from them!

Yeah, and I think highly of old 5cardstud too. I stop by that forum where he hangs out every day and he and the others on there sure have a lot of good vaping information. I enjoy going there. Seems like I always learn something.

We have our own special people right here too. salem is a good example for the packages she is always fixing for the men and women in Afghanistan, Free and you and others for sending people vaping gear who are a little tight on funds right now, even DeXTeR/Vapor Junction is really great about doing that too. We have a real great bunch of folks right here!

And Vapor Junction has been great about letting us take over their forum as a place for us to meet. I hope a lot of the people stopping by will bookmark his store site and take a minute to see what he has to offer. His inventory is continually growing and his prices are competitive in all cases and better than others in most cases.

The best thing about Vapor Junction though is the "no argument, customer care." DeXTeR is going to see that all his customers are satisfied and want to come back again. Its just a no b.s. situation. He's going to do anything necessary to see his customers are happy. I really respect him for it.

Well TT I am about 200 miles from the coast :) Probably the only good part about living in BFE. BUT my son and grandson are still just about 10 miles from the coast. I just talked to my son and they are already preparing to head this way. If anyone remembers with Hugo they forecast that it would skim past Charleston until about an hour before it hit. At that point they were telling everyone to stay put that it was too late to evacuate. We had our roof blown off and 12 large pine trees in our house with us in it during that storm. It was a very traumatic experience being taken within an inch of our lives and none of us will ever stay for anything above a cat 2 hurricane and thats even iffy :)
