SC: Loved all the pix of your critters, and Smokey looks gorgeous.
And Techno--I agree with the others--do not put your doggy down if it does not seem to be in pain. If an animal begs for treats, it still is happy with life. Hugs to you...that is always a hard decision to ponder.
And I was gonna comment on some other posts, but now can't remember what they were....so must not be important.
I was busy all day, getting things ready for vacation....took cat to the vet and left her so they could do a blood curve on her....without the insulin her blood sugar got to 370 so they said to keep her on the insulin.....damn!! Was so hoping her pancreas was producing more insulin. But she has only been on the herbs for 3 days, we'll see...will have a fructosamine test run some time next month when she has been on the herbs longer. Maybe it will at least end up with a reduction in insulin, even tho she only gets 1 unit 2 x daily.
Tonight, we are making a liquor store run for the "float in the lake" booze....then stopping for pizza. (gotta keep those bathing suits filled to the max.)
Will be back later....and SC, give Smokey a big old Gramva hug. Love anyone who loves critters, and that seems to be ALL of you.
