Sorry that I missed you Cassie. I was sooooo tired that I had to go to bed
I love the location of the Flamingo. Being on the 4 corners of Vegas and the fact that there is easy access to the street makes it a great place to stay IMO. The other hotels are so freakin huge that it can take an hour just to get out to the street to go anywhere. But I never had an event going on at the Flamingo so I can't compare as far as that goes. There is always tons of stuff going on in Vegas and never a dull moment there. I am not much of a gambler but I love the shows, virtual rides, food, hotels, etc And so many things to do for free too!
You know I am thinking that missing the Pokey coffee in the mornings is what has us all discombobulated.
And where the heck has TV been? I don't think I have seen her here lately at all

I've been so busy...WORK for gawd sakes...I hate it when they expect results from me!
I DID do the hoity toity ballet thing last night, and it was a great evening.
First off, my shoes exploded. I am not kidding. I have these "dress" shoes that I've had for about 5 years, and I only wear them to hoity toity galas. They have a thick rubber sole, and were uber expensive ( I got them on sale!! but still)..
So, as we're walking from the parking lot to the ballet, I feel the entire sole snap in half under my foot. Then the other one does the same thing. By the time I got back to the car, pieces of them were actually flying off. My sister & I started laughing so hard, I'm sure people thought we were high or something.
So, I ended up wearing my flip flops, which were the only other shoes in the car.
It was so typical of things that happen to me. I could never be to snobbish, because the gods like to Frick with me & put me in my place every time.
