Gramva- we decided to go with snapstone porcelain tile. It is sort of floating floor with flexible grout. The other name is called advaire that is sold at better carpet stores. I am buying the same thing at Menards. We have not agreed on the living room yet. We are going to start the dining room/kitchen and baths first. It will be a project. I might even take photos.... This is the same vinyl from 93 when we built the house. I promise I will be back later....this bird needs cookin!

Good to hear 75! Sounds like scary dreams. (Just be careful!) Ex's can become drastic. December is not far away.
Luckily her and I haven't had a argument nor has she said anything out of the way to me nor have I said anything to her. I leave that up to SO to handle lol But anyone who mentally and physically to children is no friend of mine. I stay peaceful because of the children and I will always remain that way. I wish everyone understood that the children come first!!
Children should come first. OMG my step pop had a really cool ex-wife. My mom even loved her-plus her cooking was fantastic! We never had the fighting and crap that some folks have. I had stepbro's and sisters. They were a bit jealous at first-then they moved in. Their mother handed them over to my dad. It was a win-win for all of us. We even celebrated major holidays together!

Yep Sd, photos please. And children should come first, but lots of times our selfish adult nature takes over and that is not the case. Anyway, they should come first until they are teenagers----then much of our parental time is wishing they would turn 25 on their next birthday. My son did not turn human until he was 30--now he is a beautiful man.

That is awesome!!! I would love to have a blended family like that but things don't always happen that way. Our kids get along great and call each other brother and sister. They told me to hurry up and marry their dad so they won't have to go back home and I will always be there. I love those kiddos so much like I gave birth to them myself lol We may tie the knot next year but we want to make sure the children are situated. I know...backwards...
