good night Salem!

LD I tell you, now that you are here and TT is back, this place is getting wild!

Man this place never stopped being wild LOL

I am a member (actually a nominated administrator) of another forum that evidently got hijacked. I am not able to get rid of the spammers, etc. Looks like the owner is going to put up an entire new forum. I just had a ton of chit going on all at once but am OK now :)

I'm sure it was wild long before I got back. But, I do tend to look at the line, touch it, but not cross it. It's relatively easy since I just need to see where T is standing. ;-)

It is good to be back. I missed a lot of the guys. Salem has always been a good friend to me and helped me out when I needed it. TexasT, Ab and I were inseparable. I was so glad to see Ab here too. As for T, it's like he is my alter ego.

Everyone here has been a family to me, and it's good to be home!

SecondWind, are you talking about my big, ol wifey? Well, she was a Pole Dancer at a Truck Stop/Night Club. You see, way down there in the remotest south west corner of New Mexico we do have girls, but they are all built about like me. So I came over here to Texas to find a gal and I walks into this night club at the Truck Stop (a real fancy place) and there she was Pole Dancing all dressed up in a big smile. So I married her.

Some friends of mine had wives who yelled at them for cussing and yelling during football games and I wanted one too. I figured that I was missing out on something. (boy, was I ever!!!). So I married her and later on she got a real good job at the Lube Rack servicing cars and pick up trucks (she's real good with pick up's). Well heck, we were rolling in money by then so I figured there wasn't much sense in both of us working so I became kinda like that red headed guy with funny hair that you see on television a lot ... I was like an idea man. I had the idea that I didn't want to work.

But your right. She is real nice. When I was in the hospital we were walking down the hallway together one day hand in hand and this real, real old woman ... heck she was probably four or five years younger than you ... saw us from her hospital bed and waved for my wife to come to her. I told my wife ... oh looky there, that sweet old lady wants to talk to you. So my wife puts on this big ol smile and walks over to this old ladies bed and she says "hi dahlin,' what can I do for you."

The old lady looked at her and all of a sudden yells "BRITCH." Maybe I didn't spell that right. Anyhow, my wife jumped so high that her 16 inch Crescent wrench and her channel locks fell out of her hip pocket! Half scared her to death.

So every time we walked down the hall together after that I'd ask my wife if she wanted to stop by and visit her elderly friend, but she didn't want to any more.

So I'm in that hospital and just bored to tears and I got the idea that I wanted one of those electronic games you hold in your hands and you run these race cars and everything. All the kids used to have them before they all got telephones. So I told my wifey I really needed one and she said she would get one for me.

So I'm all happy and sitting in that room watching Dr. Feel on the colored television set and and waiting to get me a real nice game thing and in she waltzes with an electronic game for me. Actually, she had two of them. I guess she had gone to the toy department at WallySmart and got me this race car game. It said on the front of the package that it was for ages three and up. It had a window about half an inch wide and it was a race car game. The other game was a Froggy Hopper or something like that. It was for ages six and up.

Now I'm going to be 70 years old here right quick and I don't think those games were meant for that much of an age gap. So I called my granddaughter who is eleven on her telephone and asked her if she would explain to granmere' (that's what my wife likes to be called) what kind of a game it was that I needed. So my granddaughter digs out her old Nintendo game and sent it to me. Its a Nintendo DS and has a four wheeler racing game and a car racing game and I had tons of fun with it and it really helped me to pass the time.

So anyhow I sure wish I had me a nice jar of apple butter to have with my toast at breakfast.
