He's a good catcher tho. just toss something at him and CHOMP,, he's got it. The other thing is that if I would get up out of bed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, when I get back he has stolen my pillow. And he would be just a grinning. I would make a grand production of explaining to him the it was MY pillow,, MINE. (Till we woke up Tina, ooops). but he hasn't done that in months now.

Oh, Gummy, that is not good at all.

I know with people and CHF it's all about the sodium/salt and fluid intake and, of course, weight loss if necessary. But other than those restrictions, why the strict limitation on his food if he hasn't lost weight anyways? The vet has checked for other underlying issues, I am hoping? I really don't know enough to hazard a guess, but it certainly seems like there is something else going on with your ol' buddy. I am sorry to hear it for him and for you. :(

T always gets that story wrong. The old age will do that to some. With T, he just stares and drools half the day. The other half is usually spent in the barn... with who-knows-what. See, T and I are twins, but once Mom gave birth to him, she got really scared. So, when I could see the light at the end of the tunnel, Mom close the door tight and made sure that I developed properly before shootin' out.

Now, while I developed fine, TexasT has a thing for the young cows. Sure, we all laugh when they kick him in the head, but that bugger was all fired up and Mr. 260lbs jumped on the back.

Now, I'm off to bed before I mess this up too much. I spent last night getting w woman I met Saturday... well... tired! ;-)

-LD

Now, that being said, I was finally birthed after T moved out. I guess they finally had room for me then. Also, I had a normal childhood and it is so unlike the one T had. He was eating cake and crumpets, which I dig ditches and work construction. I was doing well learning pharmaceutics and programming for that, but they want to utilize me on other things.

Wow. I was so tired last night that I don't even remember writing half of that!:blink::blink:

Getting ready for my afternoon Pokey nap and thought I'd do a drive-by.

Reminds me of when we were both in Kindergarten. You never went down for a nap easy.

There I was, with my blanket and teddy bear all ready for my nap. I would put my head down and drift right away. Well, I was five!

You though, always fought with the teacher -- never wanting to take your nap! You two were always arguing and fighting about nap time. I was so embarrassed. I mean, you were 35-years-old and made it hard for half those kids to go to sleep. Why you always had to fight with that teacher was beyond me. You were just mean. You should have been nicer. After all, she was your first wife!

Yup, he's that same pup.
It all started a year ago when he just fell over and looked like he was going to die. We took him to the vet and was told that it was congestive heart failure. They gave him 2 kinds of pills and they put him on a doggy diet. it's the damn doggy diet that's the problem. after a year of starving my poor 'ol buddy all he can think about now is food. and he hasn't lost a pound. There is no going back to just keeping a full food bowl out for them now he would devour it all in seconds. I don't know what to do. He isn't like my 'ol buddy now,, it's just food, food, food, gotta find food.

Your dog and I have a lot in common ...

Now Gummy.....get your mind out of that gutter thread...haha.

I just came back on to post that I was sorry, I forgot TT must limit his sugar intake and to edit my M&M's post to say....I was wrong, these are terrible....don't even try them. Please forgive me, TT. But it does sound like Mrs. TT has it under control. My hub's cholesterol is bad, he is on medication...I tried to control his cholesterol intake, but he would sneak around behind my back for lunch and blow it, so I finally gave up. No longer try to compete with double cheeseburgers and pizza, cause I couldn't win. He is a stubborn, dense-headed man.

Your husband has a lot in common with me and Gummy Bear's dog.

This thread is flying way to fast.

had to go to the dr today for my shoulder, she said bursitis (SP?) and to not use it for 2 days. I asked her if typing was OK? she said no, don't use it at all just move it periodically to keep it from freezing. How do i not use an arm at all, that doesn't make sense to me.

I saw a guy up in Arkansas one time that could type with his nose.

Might be worth a try ...

Yeahbut (that's a thing with big ears that hops), when grammy found out when you were fifteen that you was a boy and not a girl I was sooo happy because I had always wanted a brother and all there was besides you around the house was gramva and SecondChance and I needed a brother to hang with.

Then you got those implants (how do you manage to keep your hands out of there all day long?) and you were back to being my sister again and I was so confused I went to the Kindergarden teacher for consolation who sexually amused me and I had to marry her but we did name our first two kids after you and then Aunt Myrtle left town suddenly.

And your are right though. I should have been nicer to that first wife kindergarden (or was that beer garden?) teacher but all she ever had on her mind was UTC, UTC, UTC day and night. I never got any rest and I guess I just got cranky after a while. I mean, its like salem always says in her nice New York accent ... man cannot live on bread alone! We need to have taco's every now and then. Or M&M candy corn will do in a pinch.

But your right. I should have been nicer to her. And I made it a point to always be nicer to the five or six who followed her. Remember that one gal whose brother up in Arkansas could type with his nose? He fascinated me watching him do that. Cool Beans!

Ha, ha, and Gummy Bear always wondering what that lump was under his covers. You know don't you! You gonna tell him Woody ... I mean LD?

Oh, sure. You tell everyone in the forums that it was your fridge. I'm telling them the truth!

He turned the gas on in the oven and put a $20 bill in there. He put the bill just out of my reach. Once I started getting dizzy, he kept saying, "You can get that bill out of the fridge. It's just a fridge!"

I have such great family!:facepalm::facepalm:

You know I had to get those implants. When I was in high school and you were on your 5th try at 6th grade, Mom kept having me bring your lunch to you at school. I was always so nice to you, but you never understood. I was eating your desert to help you out. You were in your 40's and it wasn't good for you to have all that sugar cause of your inflamed prostate. Every time I dropped off your lunch, you would trip me. After a while, my nose was swelling up. I needed something to cushion my fall!

I do remember that brother up in Arkansas. Did you hear what happened to him? He got in a car accident. No matter how good he got with that nose typing, he shouldn't have been texting while driving.
