Well the top cap thing was so tight...had to use pliers. I found out the red wire is cracked. I will beg DH to repair tomorrow. I think some electrical tape is in order....luckily I have my VJ epower. :)

Goodnight SC.

Luckily your DH can repair things for you :)
Hope you get it working soon. Yay for the VJ epower, too :)

Well I am hoping he can. He repaired it twice already....too many drops courtesy of my super sweet kitties. They know they are not allowed to counter surf. However, when they see something "shiny" its a new game for them.

TG I am deciding if I should get a digital stethoscope or a new PV for x-mas. My Littmans cardiologists steth broke and I have a cheap Littmans. I could have worked numerous hours this past week. However, I had a back issue that presented itself. So I am thinking PV. I only purchased two this year. One VV and the epower. I won a few in contests but didn't like.

Sorry if I am not making sense. Today is the first day I ever consumed a real pain med.

The digital steth is a Thinklabs. It is on sale.

Looks like I am in the company of ECHO! Good NIGHT

Morning Pokey and Everybody!

After a cloudy, rainy weekend here, the sun is now shining brightly and there's no clouds in the sky, but there are some hanging over the mountains. Very pretty. Temp's for the rest of the week are to be in the mid-70's and it should be a pretty week.

We're going to start getting things ready to go on to Tucson tomorrow and do some more sight-seeing down that way. We've already seen everything there in years past, but always enjoy going back. We've going to leave the travel trailer here at Willcox and will just use a motel in Tucson for a couple days.

Then back here again for a week focused on rock hounding and then to start preparing to go back home again.

One sad footnote to the trip and rock hounding is the problem along the Mexican border. The Border Patrol presence is like I've never seen it before and from the border clear up to I-10 there are ranches and farms for sale and empty homes for sale everywhere. Everyone is moving away from the border. Its becoming too dangerous.

Unfortunately, that's where some of the best rock hunting is at and even in the National Parks there are signs in many places warning of illegal immigrants and drug runners. Kinda puts a damper on things. Even north of I-10 I've kept a sharp eye out while Mrs. TT hunts for her rocks and the deal is that she always stays within site of me. No wandering off on her own.

So, we're careful (and armed) and we'll continue having a good time in spite of that problem. There are still plenty of things to do and places to go.

And we're still looking at being back home around December first.

After this nice trip maybe I can even talk her into a nice new Buzz Pro for me, for Christmas!
