We've both been doing real well FranC. Thanks. My wife just went to her doctor today for a blood test and he's happy with her progress and I haven't been to any doctors lately and I'm happy with my progress. I am starting to get some strength back though, and that's good!

That's great news TT. Keep up the good work!!

I did quit completely in July of 2010 but I had two cigs in the freezer. I smoked one of them last Summer and it was not stale. Tasted pretty good at the time lol

ETA- I had them wrapped in press n seal

I had five and a half cartons of them in the freezer. I sold some and gave some away. Also gave all my stuff away to make your own.

I had made up my mind when I ordered the Green Smokes the first time that somehow, some way ... I was going to use them to quit smoking. My wife had been diagnosed and we knew what we were going to be up against and I knew that if I didn't quit smoking that she never would either.

Actually, the Green Smokes made it easy. Like I said, at that time their quality was still real high and they had good juices in their cartos. It was hard to destroy all the cigarettes I still had, but once I make up my mind ... that's what I do. And I had made up my mind.

I know, I know, I'm a hard headed old fart.

Well good for you TT. We tried the green ones to and as you said they worked good at first but then the quality fell drastically.

If I would have had that to motivate me, I am sure that I would have quit right away too.

Matter of fact, I did quit for 5 years once cold turkey after DH was very sick. He had lung damage and the doc said that he should never smoke again. I knew that I had to quit too, so I did. Just cold turkey, no ecig.

I so remember trying every cart mod. I'd collected a ton of stuff doing so too!

Me too. I finally got rid of all of the cartos and juice that I had hoarded. Now, I make my own juice and am hoarding flavors lol I don't know what it is aboit this stuff that makes us want to have so much of it :)

I finally gave most it away in PIF. I pretty much vape two/three flavors but still get the 'urge' and order stuff I haven't tried yet. Usually stuff I'm not crazy about so it sits.

I started dabbling with vaping back in 2005, when it was still new. My gf bought a Smoking Everywhere kit. After that we tried various kits, 4081, 401, 901, 801, etc. It never stuck tho. When I decided to quit this last time I knew I would need something to keep me from going back. That's when I looked into vaping again and bought my first mod.

Good night FranC! Have a good night!

Oh, and the sweet lady who makes my juices for me (my ONLY supplier) has never sent me a dud yet! Some aren't every day vapes for me, but I dig them out from time to time and put some in a tank and enjoy the change. Strangely, my every day favorite is turning out to be a Yellow Cake Batter that she makes. Its one I can live with all the time!
