I have tried a few different mixes based around tc1's RWhy4 and that one has the lowest amount of sweetness.
I'm gonna have to switch it up on my next mix though. I've only got about 1 mil left of FV.
It's alright though, they've all been good.

It's really easy to add additional flavors to RY4 double. I've yet to add anything to it that didn't blend well in moderation.
I mixed up a blueberry and cream recipe using some Cap blueberry.. on a whim I vaped it out of one PV and the RY4 out of another.
It's an oddly good combination. The blueberry gives a nice little essence, cuts into the sweetness a bit. Now to experiment with making this work without two PVs....

That's why I make 60 ml at a time!
30ml just got mixed up, added a couple drops of smooth just for good measure. Smells like heaven. Had to order more nic and vg from WizardLabs (this time 60mg for again, good measure) just to keep up with demand. The woman loves it too.
Added Menthol to my Azure RY4 and I really like it. I didn't like the RY4 by itself, and being a Menthol smoker, I had to try this. Draws nice and cool and on exhale I get a... fruity for lack of a better term.. flavor. Kinda perfumy, flowery taste/smell. Really hard to put my finger on it. Only thing I don't like is the lack of vapor compared to all my off the shelf stuff. The RY4 is over a month old and has been sitting in a wooden box I keep all my stuff in. I mixed approximately 60/40 RY4/Menthol in a 10ml bottle.

this..After mixing RY4D with different %'s of vanillan and orig caramel I've found that I like it best by itself at 15-16%, it got a little too sweet with the other flavors.
Ok, you guys have persuaded me to try it. Just ordered 30 mL of Double RY4. Now I just have to wait for it to come in.

8% Ry4 Double
5% Peach (LA) / 5% Pomegranate (CAP)
1% EM
I'm pretty happy with the peach mix, although I was a bit surprised by the amount of flavor. I'd mixed a 5% peach sample as a stand-alone and didn't think it was that strong. Perhaps the RY4-D helps accentuate it? If I make this again, I'll likely drop the peach by a point or two.
The Pomegranate doesn't shine though nearly as well. The pomegranate is just a suggestion in this one, not really enough to actually taste. I'll let it sit for another week and see where it ends up.

You might be the first person I've found say they use this flavor. What % do you use your pecan at?
TFA Hazlenut is very good with RY4D. 12% RY4D, 4% Hazlenut. Keep in mind that I like stronger flavors.
Me too, i just started the DYI thing and did a few small batches.
RY4 Double 10%
Caramel candy 1%
About 5 drops AP per 10ml
And a few drops of EM
TFP sent me a free bottle of Apple with my order so of course i whipped up some Caramel Apple that's pretty tasty.

I did get an Apple sample from a recent WL order too, and just had to mix it with Caramel Candy at 5% each too. Haven't had the chance to vape it yet as I'm busy with other concoctions. Getting the Apple flavor was a nice surprise - the last free sample I got from them was French Vanilla.
As for your RY4 double recipe, it seems the AP content at 5 drops per 10ml seems quite high!

After a week take 5ml out and introduce your flavours one drop at a time until your happy with the balance of flavours, Dont over do it, one drop at a time till you just get a hint of flavour now steep again. Once your happy with the mix you can work out how many drops to add to the Ry4 you made.
I think far to many people are over doing it with flavours and putting way to much caramel or vanilla and losing the ry4 taste or what ever your mixing, Its all about balance & time.
